This is the dramatic moment a TV reporter was shot by a sniper as she reported live from war-torn Georgia.
Tamara Urushadze took a bullet to her left arm in the flashpoint town of Gori as Russian forces continued their illegal occupation.
Bravely, or foolishly, the 32-year-old brunette continued her report after a few moments as other journalists and aid workers dashed for cover.

if it was a sniper, she would not have stood back up.
War correspondents are not the sharpest knives in the drawer.
Pellet gun?
so much BS on both sides.
I suspect the Russians used fake video and propaganda to scare the Georgians out of Ossetia faster.
Fortunately, it looked only like a grazing wound. But what kind of sick Russian sniper would target a female journalist in the middle of a report. She had some big cajones though. No panic there.
Clueless.
A definition of sniper, other than the military trained ones:
“One who shoots at other people from a concealed place.”
The don’t have to be a marksman to be considered a “sniper”.
“But what kind of sick Russian sniper would target a female journalist in the middle of a report. “
It depends on the reporter.
Can’t believe she would have just got a graze from something like a Dragunov round.
Though to be fair “sniper” probably just means “people shooting at civilians at very long range” over there. Maybe she was hit by a ricochet or concrete shrapnel.
But what is Obama gonna do to stop this madness?
Too true...
I have a list to send from NBC, ABC, CBS, and CNN. Also Dan Rather could be sent.
Did you see this? Holy crap.
ping for later.
Gotta admire the gal for keeping on.
This should happen to some our Drive-By journalists to get them in touch with reality.
Hey talk to Bush about it.....
“I looked the man in the eye. I found him to be very straight forward and trustworthy and we had a very good dialogue. I was able to get a sense of his soul. He’s a man deeply committed to his country and the best interests of his country and I appreciate very much the frank dialogue and that’s the beginning of a very constructive relationship”
Wow, she is cool as a cucumber! Even starts to assess what type of weapon it must have been during the end of the report, as they put her in a bullet proof vest. She just grabs the mic and keeps talking.
