The NFL is boycott proof. They tried to get one going when the Rolling Stones performed a few years ago.

Perform what?
Springsteen has been irrelevant since 1987.

Maybe he will remember what town he is in unlike the night I saw him back in about 1984.

Call me old fashioned, but how about a battle of the marching bands, a la the movie Drumline?

I don’t get it. I’m not going, though. I’ll be watching at home, as we always do.

Boycott? Not me. I can’t stand his stupid politics but I like his very early stuff right up to Born to Run and I love football. Not much chance I’ll miss the Superbowl.

Just how in the heck do you boycott the NFL and what does Springsteen have to with anything in this century?

I can't boycott the Superbowl or the NFL.
One has to watch it in the first place to qualify.

I'd go watch the Obamas and Clintons play Rock, Paper, Scissors, before I'd listen to BS and the E street band.

The only album of Springsteens I enjoyed and bought was Born in the USA. I can't stand his old nasally stuff and now everything is bash Bush, bash America, blah, blah, blah.
I've always loved Bob Segar and his music consistently. I wouldn't take 10 Springsteens for one Segar.

Bruce Springsteen may be alive, but his career died before Dukakis lost the 1988 election.
Someone really should tell him it’s over.

I haven’t watched the halftime show for MANY years. Every time I’ve glanced at it, it’s been crap! Give me a marching band, or a pro-american performer, not washed up rock/pop junk.
