I can see Elizabeth’s reason for staying given her health and small children. I imagine their relationship is very frosty but for the kids I think she is smart in staying. Too late! Been here two years already. And BTW--I'm STILL fighting with the CA DMV to get the $440 in state taxes they STILL owe me for (incorrectly, surprise) garnishing my tax refund.

Seems the DMV doesn't understand that when you register a car AND transfer title 3000 miles away, you really don't need a CA registration anymore and it's not nice to take money that isn't theirs.
