Sorry to hear the old boy is going fast. I disagree with his liberal politics, but otherwise, he seemed to be a pretty straight shooter.

I like his salad dressing and lemonade, even if the profits go to a good cause.

He may well be a diehard liberal but he could sure act and drive a race car.

God bless Paul Newman, and bless the hospice workers who will allow him to die at home with the dignity that no tabloid mafia ever would.

I don’t follow the Hollywood hype, so I missed hearing that Paul Newman had a serious medical condition. Unlike most actors, Newman seemed like a solid guy...someone who would make a good neighbor. And he starred in some of my favorite all time movies.
Prayers up for him and his family.

I have to agree. His politics aren’t mine, but he did things well, including living far from Hollywood, staying married to the same woman for 50 years, raising a family that’s by show biz standards pretty normal, creating a real business (then giving profits to charities). Brain cancer is a horrible disease, so with his passing inevitable, I’d hope it would be as fast and painless as possible for him.

He may well be a diehard liberal but he could sure act and drive a race car. He also acted as a good race car, too.

Good luck to you, Mr. Newman. I’ll always remember you as a classy actor.

Had a friend ultimately pass from chemo and watched it take away her body and spirit. Then with the help of Hospice, she switched from chemo to morphine to rid the pain from the chemo.

I thought he was one of the few Hollywood lefties who managed it with good grace. I even buy his salad dressing.
