The chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, John Conyers Jr of Michigan, is an endorser of the Revolutionary Communist Party call to "Drive Out the Bush Regime". So, if anyone needs to be 'investigated', it's that SOB. But since the republicans are mostly spineless cowards, I doubt it will ever happen.

Never happen - this is like the calls here to try this or that Democrat politician for “treason” - either one would be political suicide for the party that tried it.

But to the extent that someone does want to take it seriously, what that is the basic argument argument against setting up extra judicial “tribunals” to try anyone - history demonstrates very clearly that once a government gets in the habit of using such techniques to try anyone, it becomes very tempting use them to try everyone.
