Only in a country completely ignorant of basic economics could an "Emergency Economic Plan" proposed by Barack Obama be taken seriously. Obama proposes taking "excess" oil company profits and giving Americans five hundred bucks apiece and married couples a grand. No doubt this is an attractive plan to those convinced oil companies are inherently evil; that government can solve any problem; that the law of supply and demand is irrelevent; and that I deserve the money. That such a "plan" does exactly nothing to help the country is irrelevant to the legions of self-absorbed nitwits who buy into the politics of envy and class warfare and the enviro-nazis who want to see America reduced to a socialist Third World country. What Obama is proposing solves nothing and only kicks the energy football further down the field toward the inevitable: monstrously high energy prices due to dwindling supplies. Only an idiot - or someone who assumes all of us are idiots - would foist such a gimmick on the public.

I thought it was illegal to buy votes?????

INFLATE HERE, INFLATE NOW!
Buying votes is EXACTLY what he is doing along with stealing money from free enterprise companies. Hmmmmm... sounds like old school Chicago mafia/politics to me.
Whoohoo. The Jackson household consumed about 600 gallons of gasoline last year, so we are going to get 1/2 of our money back. That will teach the oil companies to try to make a profit off of us. They can take their filthy oil and go sell it somewhere else....Oooops, hold on there pardner.... No need to be hasty.
The Demo-Socialists prefer that we buy oil from terrorist supporting rogue nations, rather than use our domestic supplies. They have their heads up their butts, as usual.
Just collecting the vigorish. At least the mob only charged 10%
