I say McCain will take 40-45 states in a landslide. If the GOP keeps the energy pressure on they may be able to actually pick up a couple of seats in the House and hold their own in the Senate. We’ll see. One thing’s pretty certain though...McCain will not have coattails. The down ballot Republican candidates are on their own.

Can’t overlook that two of Obama’s core constituents are notoriously bad about turning out; blacks and the under 25. Subtract out conservative white democrats from flyover and he’s not left with much but the liberal elite. So, he can win New York, Illinois, California, Oregon and ???
