Completely irrelevant in the context of this article. The author is saying that currently, white Democrats are saying in polls that they'll vote for Obama, but when it actually comes time to vote, they simply won't do it, i.e. the Bradley Effect.

Black voters who say they will vote for Obama WILL vote for Obama.

I'll be interested to see how that really shakes down - I think there may be a reverse-Wilder effect going on. I guess the only way to tell will be with precinct-level results, I wouldn't even believe exit polling.
