Don’t mess with Texas.........

What part does the world’s criminal elements NOT understand ?

I hope the vermin “and his supporters” suffered mentally and physically as did his victims. Doom on such trash that does such to another human and then brags in such a manner as this trash did.

Stay safe Jeff and thanks for the ping !

Rolling em up for all of us to enjoy at this good news. Thank George W. Bush and his SCOTUS judges for sanity prevailing in this matter.

I guess it’s too late to send poor Jose an email of support at his website. But you can still read about his hobbies, interests, favorite sports teams, and plans for the future that will never be realized. Sniff.

Maybe you can come to understand that his “adolescent choice” was just a tiny little mistake, and he’s beyond that now.

Just don’t go there right after you eat. You might not be able to keep it down.

I couldn’t bear the thought that “justices” wouldn’t at least deliberate over the death of anyone. We attempt justice even for those who turn their backs on it.

However, neither could I bear the idea of overturning a verdict and sentence for a man who not only confessed, he boasted of what he’d done. He’s since proven that he is a danger to our peace, with parents who plot an escape and this very appeal to escape that justice.

Again, it’s terrifying that the decision was so close. Would 4 of the SC members turn the US into the vacation spot for rapist-murderers? We in Texas will not tolerate the corruption that has ruined what should be the prosperous nation of Mexico.

Why the Brazos? Are you saying that if you get here and a real Texan baptizes you in the Brazos, that makes you a Texan? LOL!

Bless you, both. The Lord is so much better at forgiveness than we are. Thank God, He’s God!

Texans are feeling territorial tonight/today....and that's OK, they deserve to.

But there are many who have adopted Texas and are proud to live there, including my son.

It's Texans' choice who they decide are not true Texans, and I won't quibble with them....especially today!

True, it is sad that evil happens in this world. This was a case that had to be made more on principle than the death penalty itself. Not executing him because the so-called “world court” said not to would have been of greater dire consequence. God bless Texas.

I am well aware of these monsters. I live in Houston where it happened and followed the horrible crime nightly on the evening news.

I was glad that he showed remorse at the end and I am glad that he is dead. My husband and I both cheered when they announced it on the news about 15 minutes after he was given the injection. Then a local news caster gave her on the scene report.

I don't know how much comfort his apology gave to the girl's families, maybe a little.

We lost an 18 year old son to an illegal Mexican driver. Not only was the illegal not hurt the only thing we ever heard from him was his request (thru a Mex. lawyer) that we should buy him a new car because the wreck totaled his. He did not mention the fact that he is the one who hit our son, not the other way around and there was no remorse, no apology.

Like I said I don't know if the apology helped any with their grief because we never got that.

Mom told me that.
Mom wouldn't lie.

But I think she meant either Baptized (in the traditional religious use of the word "dunked"), or just "dunked" as where a natural born Texan does it.

Either way, it is a form of consumating the citizenship.
Being born in El Paso myself, I never had to go through the formality of "a dunkin' in the Brazos".

He (Bush) isn't, and never was a Texan. He and his family are carpetbaggers from Maine.

You real Texans always in the habit of electing carpetbagging RINO Republicans for your Governors?

LOL, sorry - just couldn't help myself! ;)

Are you ashamed to tell us where you are from? The USA flag is beautiful but shouldn’t you be displaying a state flag on your homepage?

Yeah—all those “fake” Texans voting the wrong way—LOL! (I’m certainly not all that fond of our Pretty-haired governor, either) but what can I say? LOL!

Well, I'm a Texan and I vote that I am a Texan. My three children who were born in Texas, two of which now live in Virginia, vote with me. ;^)

I am so sorry for your loss. I lost a 4 year old son and a 26 year old son. I share your pain.

An illegal Mexican driver ran me off the road driving on my
side of the road. He was talking on a cell phone and did not see me. I had a choice the F250 head on or the bar ditch.

I chose the bar ditch. My airbag deployed, as I am a petite woman (5'4” 120 lbs) it knocked me out briefly
and burned my arms. The man never did stop to see if I was alright
my brand new 2007 Chrysler 300 was toast.

At a later date (1 year later) he was caught. The police said it was my word against his. His sister said he did it. My insurance is with USAA so it was there fight having already paid me

No smart ass, I'm not. Not that it's any of your damn business, but I'm like the late Hank Snow, i.e. "I've Been Everywhere"

The USA flag is beautiful but shouldn’t you be displaying a state flag on your homepage?

No. I live in a secure undisclosed location. Have a nice day and try finding something else more important to worry about, lol.
