In an election in critical swing-state Florida for President of the United States today, 08/04/2008, Republican John McCain defeats Democrat Barack Obama, 50% to 44%, according to this latest SurveyUSA poll pre-election poll conducted exclusively for WFLA-TV Tampa and WKRG-TV Pensacola.

anti-Obama landslide will be protrayed as a “racist America”
you can bet the house on it
but no one will take your bet.
College grads go for McCain 49-45, but non-graduates go for McCain 52-43.
I wouldn't expect that.
Sweet!
And this after Obama has been running lots of TV ads in Florida. McCain hasn’t.
How sweet election night will be!
Florida has a big NYC connection.
People in NYC remember 9/11.
I'm a bit surprised by these #’s too. Maybe it's the liberal indoctrination going on at the college campuses.
Remember 2004 where $500,000 of Swift Boat Truth beat $50 million of Soros lies.

Eventually, they'll NOT vote for the audacious-appearing one, settling instead for the more dependable-appearing one, who though he is not as liberal as they'd like, at least they figure he probably has the same aches and pains as they.

If the citizens of those two states can't see through that obvious bit of desperation and pandering, then they are blind as bats.
38 percent of McCain’s vote is Pro-Choice, but only
29 percent of Obama’s support is Pro-life.
This could point to Tom Ridge for VP
and........."Maybe it's the liberal indoctrination going on at the college campuses."
I have a couple of close relatives who were still going to college in their 40's...and they are the most liberal thinking of all my relatives...they have literally thrown practicality out the window. They are soooooooooo intelligent...hah.
They are doing pretty good financially right now, because of their learned skills..but if Obama is elected they will be shocked to find out they will also have to give up some of their good earnings. However, I expect them to blame it on Republicans. In their minds, everything bad is due to George Bush and the evil Republicans.
Florida is as secure for the GOP this election as it has been in the last couple of decades. Obama doesn’t really have much of a shot in that state- lots of military in the North, the Cubans in the South, retirees all over the place and a significant elderly Jewish population (which does not like Obama’s, shall we say, weakness on Israel’s defense). Florida seems to be lacking Obama’s supporter demographics.

LOL....We must all have relatives like this! I have an uncle who is a professor at a large university. His ideas are downright radical! I can hardly stand being around the guy.
