COLUMBUS, Ohio — A death row inmate scheduled for execution in October says he's so fat that Ohio executioners would have trouble finding his veins and that his weight could diminish the effectiveness of one of the lethal injection drugs.
Lawyers for Richard Cooey argue in a federal lawsuit that Cooey had poor veins when he faced execution five years ago and that the problem has been worsened by weight gain.

I would prefer to see him take a 9mm to the back of the head. It's quick, lethal and quite easy on the wallet. About 35 cents a round if I remember correctly.

Smart move. Now he’s using the ‘fat’ defense. Cooey’s giving fat people a bad name. I motion that fat people be allowed to beat the poundage off him. Then we execute him. And his lawyer— he needs to be force-fed until he’s 700 pounds. FRegards ....

I have zero sympathy regarding how these human detritus are executed. If this thing doesn’t want the needle, even if there is pain possible, hang him with a very thick rope and a long drop. Get rid of the thing like one would a rabid dog.
