War on AIDS will be long, more funds needed: UN 14 hours ago
MEXICO CITY (AFP) A global conference on AIDS was to get down to business on Monday after hearing that victory against the disease lay beyond the farthest horizon and endangered lives could only be saved with inflows of money...

If HIV does not cause the set of symptoms commonly referred to as AIDS, what is it that does?

If you don't engage in anal sex, and avoid those who do, and don't share dirty needles ( Yeek! ) you are unlikely to catch what we used to call GRID. ( Remember that? )
What people need- really, seriously need-- to ask is there anything fair, or just, or equitable about stats like this:

Excellent charts! However, you forgot to mention all the scientists and medical doctors who are convinced HIV doesn’t even cause AIDS, and that the chemotherapy drugs used for AIDS are actually *one* of its causes.

So if it's a war, why can I not shoot them?
Why does everything have to be a "war against" some idea or ideology and not a war against the perpetrator of the idea or ideology? Seems to me we could "end" the war if we were allowed to shoot the perpetrators. Or remove them permanently from the scene. Leftists approve of abortion, what do they think about "post-birth abortions?" "I'm innocent of murder Judge, I was just practicing Medicine without a license."

You should read Goldberg's book "Liberal Fascism." The Left worships the concept of war because if they dupe the people into going along with it, then they can mobilize an entire society and make huge leftist strides that would otherwise be opposed or seem impossible. That's why libs love to declare war on everything. Thus you have the war on poverty, the war on cancer, the war on obesity, the war on illiteracy, the war on carbon emissions, etc, etc. If you're wondering how this concept specifically relates to "The War on AIDS," you might want to read the chapter entitled Marching Off to War from Duesberg's book, Inventing the AIDS Virus. There are also a couple of fascinating articles on the subject here and here. If you happen to read them and want to learn more, I would be happy to add you to my Rethinking AIDS ping list. Based on your comments, once you learn more about the AIDS scandal, you are going to become pissed-off and want to alert your fellow conservatives to what's going on (just like me).

“standard epidemiological practices”
Exactly. The proof that AIDS funding is bs and gay agenda driven, is the lack thereof.

Thanks for the great (as usual) stats.
“and avoid those who do”
HIV status is a big secret, unlike every other contagious disease whose spread we seek to curtail.

In subtle terms don’t put your private parts where they don’t belong. And don’t stick needles from unknown sources in your self.
