Here’s a few talk radio show call in numbers to keep the ball rolling:
Laura Ingraham-800-876-4123
Rush Limbaugh-800-282-2882
Mark Levin-877-381-3811
More info to follow
I heard the same audio on Hannity's show. They followed the voice vote with with a 15-minute roll call (individual vote).
That’s a great idea!!!
Great story ... but small quibble. In 1775, the Patriots were quire successful at alarming the countryside, even without the benefits of 21st century technology. Texting would have had a much greater impact on 12/7/1941 when the word didn’t get out in time.
To all that I’ve seen posting in various places asking about #DONTGO... It’s here:
Could he be going back today? Culberson did.
Update - Neither Boehner nor Blunt are expected to be in attendance at Monday’s talkfest, and its unclear if they will show up at any point during the week, according to GOP leadership aides.
The session will not be televised, since C-Span does not control the cameras inside the House chamber. Rather, those come under the purview of Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and the Democrats, and they’re unlikely to do anything to help Republicans.
But Republicans felt they got a lot of good press out of Friday’s “revolt,” so they will be back at it again, and younger GOP lawmakers were clearly energized by the tactic, something not evident among Republicans for most of the 110th Congress.

WOW!
Just called Laura’s show— told them that I was the one who broke the story on Friday—
he said— “hmm, not a topic we’re covering now, but call me back when we bring it up.” click......
(biting tongue)
And all Dontgo tweets are coming to Twitter as well.
NEW UPDATE FROM TWITTER

BUMP for your excellent idea!
What’s up with THAT?

Mark Davis in Texas has been talking about the ‘revolt’ and the energy debate all morning.

who knows—
but I just turned her off.... going to Glenn Beck...
Interesting facts from GOPUSA THELOFT:
The same things apply to the gas situation and “big oil.” I am a fan of sports cars, so when I travel, I often pick up a magazine such as Car and Driver. In this month’s issue, the Editor-in-Chief Csaba Csere, wrote an interesting article pointing out some of the facts and figures that the liberals conveniently fail to mention.
A barrel of crude oil contains 42 gallons and currently costs (at time of publishing) about $130. That means the raw material costs $3.10 a gallon. For finding the oil, getting it out of the ground, transporting it to a refinery, turning it into gasoline, and distributing that gasoline, ExxonMobil cleared about 58 cents per gallon in 2007, based on figures in its annual report. Of that 58 cents, Exxon paid about 25 cents in federal income tax. The feds also collected 18.4 cents of excise tax per gallon. Meanwhile, the state of Michigan collects 19.875 cents per gallon of “excise and environmental” taxes, along with 24 cents of sales tax (at $4 per gallon). So, ExxonMobil nets 33 cents per gallon, while our federal and state governments take 87 cents per gallon.
So, who profits more from high oil prices? Big oil or big government?
YES!!!
Did you see the last Tweet? Culberson said every day this week.
We have to move people. We have to keep the fire to GWB to call the session back.
Thanks for that post. The Wed. vote to adjourn the House for summer recess shows a 213-212 squeaker. All republicans who voted, voted nay. 17 dems voted with them. 10 did not vote at all—including 4 republicans, who could have put it over the top. Most shameful is Roy Blunt, who as part of House leadership, appears to have jumped on the bandwagon for the Friday fest only once he sensed the movement had political advantage. Before we tear him a new one, has anyone heard of him claiming legitimate excuse?
Unreal, that’s how good talk hosts get killed with really stupid producers.
