I've followed what this fine lady has done for a while now. She is one spunky lady and it is a shame how may Republicans turn her back on her approach. She has more backbone than most of the House and Senate R's combined.

When hearing that the chairman of the Republican Party of Florida, Jim Greer, had expressed disappointment in her magazine, The Black Republican, which Greer had secured party money to publish, Rice dismissed it with a wave of her hand. Typical of some of her interactions with the media, when Hillsborough Community College Prof. Keith Berry hosted Rice on his weekly political radio show, he eventually had to hang up on her because he could not get a question in once Rice started talking about the history of the two parties.
"You would have flunked my history class," Berry told Rice.

I wonder why she would have flunked his class? Is what she was saying flat out wrong, or did he just have a different opinion on it? If it's the former, he should have taken the time after her call to give some evidence of that, and the article likely would have mentioned that. If it's the latter, then a class taught by him wouldn't be worth taking, anyway.
