CSPAN has shut down coverage of the House. The lights have been turned out.
House Republicans are still there, raising cain- trying to get them to turn the lights back on and continue debating over drilling!!!

I just called and said "There's a Republican revolt going on int the House Chamber and I wasn't seeing much coverage of it." I got a run around on it. Was told several times "There are no cameras on now. Cameras are not allowed." I objected, politely, that the story could still be covered.
He seemed mildly irritated that I would question that and asked if I wanted to talk to (name garbled) and I said yes. Got a phone tree that led to leaving a recorded message. I did...
"There's a Republican revolt going on in the House Chamber. I understand that the cameras are turned off. You can still cover the story. Thank you."
I think sending Pizza is a *great* idea, though I would not know the logistics of getting food to the house.. anyone in DC who knows? whats a good Pizza near the capitol?

Earlier I was watching McCain speaking live from Orlando, and when he started to mention School Choice, Fox cut him off and went to one of their over reported stories.
I switched to MSNBC and continued to watch McCain speak on the issues. (Of course Obama doesn't know he does this, all he does is accuse Barak of not being white)
Then MSNBC cut away, and I had to go to CNN to watch the rest of it.

That was pretty much it from Rush. He also made it sound like because HE mentioned it 5 minutes ago, they turned the lights back on. Now he’s back to his anniversary show.
