I Hope the Kuwaiti newspaper I am reading doesn’t go up in flames..Yikes... Keep smiling...

Do you mean the Kuwait Times with the hilarious local crime section? I always make sure to grab a copy of that whenever I come through Kuwait. I once burst out laughing out loud in the Crowne Plaza restuarant by myself at breakfast reading that. A few diners looked over at me curiously. HAHA

You have WIFI? or Line to your Room and Laptop?

Got a hardwire connection that works pretty well most of the time. Of course, I snoop occasionally to see what wireless networks are out there, just for fun. You probably have WiFi?

TO

Good morning, Everyone. Good morning

Thank you, Ma, for preparing the Canteen for today’s activities. Every time I see an aircraft carrier up close or those big planes like that C-5 I am totally awed by the sheer size.

DC Metroland weather report

~ Today....A mix of clouds and sun. High 91F. Winds NW at 5 to 10 mph.

~ Tonight....Partly cloudy skies during the evening giving way to a few showers after midnight. Low 72F. Winds light and variable. Chance of rain 30%.

That means music, fun, and mayhem!

Time for me to make my rounds. But, you stay right where you are. Don't touch that dial. Don't change that channel. Put down that remote. Don't leave the room. Keep your eyes on your monitor. Cause...............I'll be bock!

And, for the rest of you………..

Now remember, the Canteen is

So, come on in and sit for a while. There's always plenty of coffee, pancakes, conversation, silliness, and plain old BS

REMEMBER THEM

DEFENDERS OF FREEDOM

FR CANTEEN MISSION STATEMENT

Well, kind of like the Birtish pop/jazz music duo of "Swing Out Sister" we're playing "The Waiting Game" to see what the docs and nurses want to do regarding Chuck and his legs.

When I looked at his legs and his foot they seemed to be kind of normal this morning. He woke up stiff as a board this morning. So, we'll see what happens.

We're preparing for some very hot weather this weekend. It's forecast to be around 105 or so Saturday and Sunday.

I did take Bo out to the lake yesterday. He had a great time out in the water. I threw a few sticks for him to catch.

Not much else is going on.

I’m sure everything will work out fine for Chuck. But, keep us posted.

Not happy to hear how hot it’s going to be this weekend. Not only for you guyz out there but it means that heat will be heading our way!

Almost 80º before 0700 again.
Looks like Allegra has clear skies . . . 113º.
