Whether he knows it or not, Barack Obama has just irretrievably changed the course of the 2008 presidential election.
By essentially labeling John McCain a racist, simply as a result of McCain daring to challenge his policy positions, Obama has entered the murkey world of race baiting, sinking to join hands with the likes of Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and Louis Farrakan.
Reverend Wright should be proud, Obama WASN'T asleep during all those sermons. He's learned well from his religious leader and mentor.
How unfortunate. He could not have picked a worse target for these attacks. John McCain may be many things, but he is not a racist.
Obama has just diminished himself and reduced his campaign to a single gutteral issue. Once you play the race card, you can't retract it.
The years of hate-filled sermons and black seperatism have have achieved their result. The chicken has come home to roost in Barack Obama.
Obama is a small, petty, weak and ineffective excuse for a candidate who is no more a healer than the rogue's gallery of cohorts he has surrounded himself with for the last 20 years.
He will shut down our Sambos restaurant for sure!

Obama is not a Christian. He is proscribing salvation through works. Atonnement through deeds? I did’nt know I
inherited sins of the past generations.

Obama speaks of pagan traditions. Traditions common
to Muslims. What kind of “deeds” does the Messiah

From his partnership with slumlord Tony Rezko, to his personal relationship with unrepentant terrorist Bill Ayers, Obama has been seeking friendships with people who wish to destroy the American way of life.
Obama even gives his seal of approval to the black racist movement by marrying a black racist.
I refuse to sit still for any of this.
I am the first one on this forum to label him a punk and I expect proper attribution or you will be hearing from my lawyers.

***The Sambo’s chain went out of business more than a decade ago, for the very reasons you point out. They were targeted by the NAACP.
The irony is that the original Sambo’s restaurant is still operating, in Santa Barbara. I ate there once. It turns out that SAMBO was a combination of the owner’s nicknames.

Me too! Where are my reparations? Back in the seventies I lost many job opportunities due to demands on big companies around town to fill administrative assistant positions with, ahem, a minority. I always received profuse apologies from the (white like me) HR people doing the interviewing. They would claim management needed to fill certain percentages of jobs with that particular minority so despite being well-qualified, I was out of luck.
Waahhhh — where’s my reparation money?!!

So, what exactly did Obama say? Is the Unity conference speech? And it will only matter, if the American People find out about whatever he said and that’s only going to happen if McCain’s campaign makes it an issue. With that crew, you have to doubt they’re going to make it an issue, it wouldn’t be honorable to point out Obama’s identity complex.

I know of a situation locally in which a noose was drawn on the inside wall of a port-o-potty at a construction site. Several black employees sued the construction company and eventually collected several hundred thousand each.
I ain't saying who drew that noose, but it sure beats working.
