Obama Campaign says Ludacris song "Outrageously Offensive"

Obama and LudacrisHave you heard the latest song by the rapper Ludacris? The song IS Ludicrous. Listen to it here.  The song attacks Hillary Clinton, George Bush and John McCain.

Here's one line from the song:
McCain don't belong in ANY chair unless he's paralyzed.

Then Ludacris said this about Obama:
With a slot in the president's iPod Obama shattered 'em
Said I handled his biz and I'm one of his favorite rappers.

You see Obama and Ludacris have a relationship.

They have teamed up on AIDS awareness before and have held at least one private meeting together. Read more here. He has also said how he has some of Ludacris's songs in his ipod. Read more here.

I am not going to define what their relationship is like. Only Obama can do that but with a song like this heard by millions of young people around the country doesn't Obama have an obligation to speak out against it? Obama has talked about the need for rappers to clean up their act. Not only is this song offensive, but it cheers for an Obama victory. It begs for a comment from Obama himself.

UPDATE: Barack Obama's campaign spokesman Bill Burton sends this statement to The Brody File

“As Barack Obama has said many, many times in the past, rap lyrics today too often perpetuate misogyny, materialism, and degrading images that he doesn’t want his daughters or any children exposed to.  This song is not only outrageously offensive to Senator Clinton, Reverend Jackson, Senator McCain, and President Bush, it is offensive to all of us who are trying to raise our children with the values we hold dear.  While Ludacris is a talented individual he should be ashamed of these lyrics."

Does this sound familiar???

Another scumbag friend of Obama until it's no longer to Obama’s advantage.

This guy's lyrics have always been offensive.

Since Obama has stated in the past that he has Ludacris on his iPod, I wish just one reporter would ask him which Ludacris songs he has.

Check out the lyrics to any Ludacris song here. I looked at about ten songs and they are all revolting.

There's the expected glorifying of violence, the misogyny, the odes to cocaine, etc., but I was suprised to also find anti-white racism in the song "T baggin."

We suggest you probably hang up the phone, beat the ass of any white guys you hung out with last night, and find and destroy all photos before they appear on the Internet.

Ludacris, like Reverend Wright, has been thrown under the bus. Neither is of any use any more for our post-racial, post-nationalist, prima dona candidate.

“That’s not the Ludacris I knew....”

Ha!

Obama: I've never heard any offensive lyrics from him, until now.

We laughed so hard I almost peed.

Reminds me of a line by my sister-in-law from years ago when she was waiting on Ray Davies of the British rock group "The Kinks" and his entourage at a restaurant.
Ray gave her a "Don't you know who we are? We're The Kinks!"

She looked right at him, cocked her head and said, "What's a 'Kink'?"

It still gives me a giggle. Mainly because Ray Davies is a real wanker.

Obama wants reparations so we never deny the country’s evil associations with slavery, yet he wants to deny his associations with evil rap stars.

Obama Campaign says Ludacris song "Outrageously Offensive"

Isn't that the point of all rap-crap music, to be outrageous, and offensive? Is this a compliment from Barry's campaign? Like it was "cool", or "trippin'", or "bad"? If you play it backwards, does it say anything about popping a cap into anyone's a$$?

Over-under on how long it takes Obama to have his “Sister Souljah” moment by throwing Ludacris under the bus ... we all know how loyal the Anointed One is to his peeps (re: Rev. Wright).

My oh my..... this maggot “Ludicrous” er “Ludacris” as he spells it..... is now such an embarrassment to Obambi that we are supposed to forget that Obambi was happy to embrace the scumbag when there was not a Presidential campaign at stake.

It’s not like Ludacris just suddenly churned out some uncharacteristic new work, he’s been a scumbag from the beginning.

Under the bus with you, Mr. Ludacris!!!!! Say hi to racist white granny down there......

Actually, Obama, this Ludicris guy has absolutelly NO talent and anyone that listens to the crap he sells is not qualified to serve in any capacity in the government of this great country.

Here's a very memorable Obama tune... in a video by Mary K Hamm.

Obama on Your Shoulder

(You might see a very short ad at the beginning of the video)
