(IsraelNN.com) A brief Chabad-sponsored course on the Temple, to be held in Israel this week and the next, has angered Islamic organizations, who call it a threat to the Al-Aksa Mosque compound.
"We view this as a serious and drastic move toward the fruition of extremist organizations to establish a temple in place of al-Aksa Mosque," said Zahi Nujidat of the Islamic Movement. "This represents a real danger to al-Aksa." The Aksa Foundation issued a similar statement.
The course, offered at roughly 200 locations throughout Israel, comes during the two weeks leading up to Tisha B'Av, the fast day that commemorates the destruction of both the First and the Second Temple.
Accordin to Chabad Lubavitch spokesman Rabbi Menachem Brod, the Muslim groups are cynically pointing to the short courses as proof that the Israeli establishment wants to destroy the mosque.
"This is a pure provocation by an organization that is exploiting any opportunity to incite the Arab public to violence against Israel," said Brod. "Every time they are looking for some other excuse to incite, and now they found it in the course."

Warning! This is a high-volume ping list.

I’ll take their protest under consideration immediately following the closure of all their live-in madrassahs and jihadist terrorist training camps. ‘Til then, I can’t seem to work up any concern about some brief courses sponsored by Chabad, regardless of what the content might be.
Education is illegal in Muslim coutries.
Outside of the schools left behind by the British Empire in places like Pakistan, the only Islamic approved schools teach students to memorize the Koran.
That’s it. No reading or writing either.
That is like saying that Sharon Tate "incited" Charley Manson.
I have never met a group of human beings so completely filled with rage, hatered and demons that the least dustspeck will incite genocide. I fear that the only way to make the world safe will be to crate them all up, lift them out of the gravity well of Earth and drop them down on Ceti Alpha Five. In a hundred years, they will wipe each other out in self-contained Holy Wars over what Mohammed ate for breakfast, will be enslaved by 1,233,723 different Imams, all preaching different values, and ultimately leave only one little old bald guy alive, who will slit his own throat for having once thought about Mohammed eating a pork BBQ sandwhich.
No, non-Islamic education is not illegal.
But even in non-religious schools, there is usually some kind of Muslim education. An imam brought in to teach some subjects, for instance.
Let’s see...my boyfriend was taught: Jews are evil & Allah’s wrath is upon us, a Wahhabi imam from Saudi encouraged the kids (5th grade) to grow up & do jihad in Chechnya, the Jews stole Israel, Allah cursed the Jews...the only positive thing ever said about Jews was that Jews are very smart & Arabs are stupid, & the kids were encouraged to do well in school so they can be smart like Jews.
& these were not religious schools at all.
'Amen! And may the day speedily come when the nations turn from their idols to the One True G-d, when the earth shall be full of the knowledge of HaShem as the waters fill the sea!
The Druze can stay.
If a powerful earthquake crumbles the Dome of the Rock, the Islamic world will not blame local Arab-Muslim destruction of the foundation, but will falsely attempt to somehow blame Israel for their own ongoing vandalism, which shall eventually contribute to the destruction of that Islamic eye sore.
What country did your boyfriend go to school in?
Muslims have got to be some of the most insecure people on the planet.
What are they afraid of? The truth?
It may seem that he’s from some fanatic hellhole in Saudi or Afghanistan, but no, he’s from Bahrain. A country that impresses Western tourists as open & nice. They have alcohol, churches, Jews, American bases. & yet this is what goes on in perfectly normal non-Islamic schools.
You make my point for me.
Bahrain became independent from England in 1971.
I understand. I misunderstood your point before.
