Now for our local DC Metroland weather report

~ Today....Clouds and some sun this morning with more clouds for this afternoon. High 92F. Winds SSE at 5 to 10 mph.

~ Tonight....Scattered thunderstorms, especially during the evening. Low 73F. Winds NNW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 50%.

We're in for a crappy week - weather-wise. Hot and Humid with possible thunderstorms. We won't get real relief until next week sometime.

Maybe you have good instincts. Or maybe you just have a lot of experience with liars.
Either way, it's pretty hard for someone to pull a fast one on you. You're like a human lie detector.

Today is time card day so I'll be more in a lurking mode today.

Now, I need to make my rounds and read my pings before the rest of the crew gets to the office. But, you stay right where you are. Don't touch that dial. Don't change that channel. Put down that remote. Don't leave the room. Keep your eyes on your monitor. Cause...............I'll be bock

Well, doing OK. Chuck is going to go to the hospital for a test on his legs later this morning. He's been having some issues with circulation in his legs.

We'll see how it all comes out.

My aunt from California is coming for a visit later today. BTW, our thoughts and prayers with those affected by yesterday's earthquake in California.

Not much else going on.

We are going to be a cool 99 for a high today! I’d better get out and do anything early that needs doing out of the A/C. I fiddled aroung with attaching a new squirrel guard on one of my bird feeders in 100 degree temps yesterday and baked..very poor timing.

I am watering my Hibiscus in a small pot twice a day during this heat wave. It starts to wilt if I don’t.
