She's plump, powerful and ready to cause more controversy than "SuperSize Me."
She's Fat Princess, the star of Sony's upcoming video game of the same name. Debuting at last week's E3 expo, the colorful Fat Princess is a capture-the-flag game with a twist: you can thwart capture attempts by locking the once-thin princess in a dungeon and stuffing her full of cake, thereby increasing her girth and making her harder for your enemies to haul back to home base.
According to popular gaming blog Joystiq, two feminist gaming sites have already voiced their displeasure with the weighty issue.
Feminist Gamer's "Mighty Ponygirl" rings in diplomatically, suggesting a new way to play the game altogether.
"Instead of running out into the forest to find cake to fatten up the princess with, why not go out and find gold (which is a lot heavier than cake) to stuff into a treasure chest. The more gold in the chest, the heavier it would be, and the harder it would be to carry," she said, before adding, "Oh, but that's not as "cute" as cake and fat chicks. Right."
Over at Shakesville, however, writer Melissa McEwan cuts to the chase, telling Sony she's "positively thrilled to see such unyielding dedication to creating a new generation of fat-hating, heteronormative ---holes."

Feminist gamer. Theres a title for you. Living in your parents basement, with pimples and no dates is typically a male dominated profession, so she struggles.
unyielding dedication to creating a new generation of fat-hating, heteronormative ---holes
I dont even know what the hell heteronormative is, but I hope I qualify! I got five bucks that says the angry homonormative feminist is fat as a house.
Feminists hate it = fun game for normal people with a sense of humor
Even though the game sounds dumb and not like its that much fun to play the concept is hilarious!
Tough luck feminists; it’ll either sell or it won’t. The market will decide.
femi-nazis complain when sports illustrated comes out with the bathing suit issue, cause ‘real woman’ dont look like that...and then a vid game, which is probably closer to what a lot of out of shape woman do look like, well, that’s bad too..
kiss my ass.
Looks normal from viewing the streets. I have never seen so many overweight humans (both male and female) than now. It must be that they have no money for food.
I'll tell you exactly what it is:
heteronormative - a word, which when used in context in any paper in any socially oriented college class, will get you an "A".
Isaiah 3:12 Youths oppress my people, women rule over them.
The bible includes “feminists” in the same context as rebellious children. Humans who “shake their fists at God” over the role that they were created in.
(Seriously -- "heteronormative" is the idea that normal relationships involve one man and =one woman, as opposed to gay relationships, polyamorous relationships, real dolls or farm animals.)
Hey! I thought that was the definition of "cryptofacist!"
geesh
Wimmin Are Evil....here we go again.
you mean skanksville?,what a bunch of hypersentive uptight twits
Back in the early 1990’s, I worked in a video game arcade. A couple of busybody feminists came in with stickers that read “This product supports violence against women”. They managed to tag about 20 machines before the manager caught them and gave them the boot after arguing about the violent content of the games.
Among the games they tagged was Ms. Pac Man, NBA Jam, and the Jokerz pinball machine. After the manager and I removed the stickers (they had a tremendously strong adhesive), we had a good laugh about their mental condition.
This story has nothing to do with the article, but feminists behaving insanely about video games triggered that memory.

The search engine must be heteronormative.
If they have a problem with it, don’t buy it.
Get yourselves a Wii Fit Ladies. Most feminists I know could really use it.
Nothing better than stepping on the Wii board in the mornings and having it announce “That’s Obese!” Really cheers one up in the mornings!
And yes I am addicted to the step aerobics. My kids won’t play that because I rule the leader board.
(If anyone knows how to clear the leader board, I’d appreciate a hint)
