“Use it or loose it.”
This simply means use it or let it go.

Like I said to the other one, as long as people know what you mean it don’t matter it’s a mute point.

I feel the same way about mute and moot. Please, there is no such thing as a “mute point.”

It's not just here...it's EVERY freakin' blog out there...the illiteracy is astounding!
I know. I see this everywhere, among all levels of education, and it is one of my biggest pet peeves!

I am also sick of “Lighten up....whoever”
Shaddup with that. People need to rant.

It's like strategery - - - after a while, you get so used to using it you forget it's not a word.

I’m “seeing” a professional editor/proofreader, currently. It amazes me that I’m much more anal about spelling on the internet than she is. Because she gets paid to point out errors, she just blows by bad spelling and grammar on the web.
I, however.........

“Shouldn't that be all y'all’s?”
I think you're right. I learned from my Alabama relatives that the simple “y'all” means one person. To address a bunch of people, it probably should be “y'all’s.”
Oh well, everywon makes misteaks.
