That is so bad. Have you called the school and pointed it out to them?

My pet peeves are the incorrect usage of “him,” “her,” “he” and “she.” Also, “lay” and “lie.”

So, it is grammatically correct to "effect an affect," although it is less common than to "affect an effect."I was about to jump in on this, but I like your explication better. It was accurate, precise and concise!

My pet peeves are the incorrect usage of him, her, he and she. Also, lay and lie. Ditto that! My pet peeve is with the use of "none."
NONE is treated like "not one."

Yes, I know what you mean. People can't seem to write decently at all these days. Some of them are so bad that I just send them this link:

I've been an admin on a game forum for about 7 years. It's fairly quiet, but we still have to make it clear to new people that we think 'chatspeak' is just plain lazy when you're not on a cellphone and have a full keyboard to use. Along with the 'chatspeak', how hard can it be to use to/too/two correctly, for example!

“Lose” is the past tense of “luce” and imperfect articulated stem of “lucid”. While “loose” is a compounded partiperson of “lews” and should only be used in the hyperventilated voice termed “Louey”.
We hop this holps and is in force til I change my mind.

The Mall! grrrrrr.
People walk right into and expect you to move out of their way even tho you're as far over as you can get to begin with.
One should be courteous and polite. One should look both ways when leaving a store.
No no, not at the mall.
The same principal should apply walking at the mall as driving.
Oh, and don't even get me going on those 10 deep stroller pushing exercising Moms with the crying diaper loaded babies that group up right in front of the escalators to do their exercises while shouting instructions.
