A Jerusalem lawyer petitioned the attorney general Sunday asking him to order a police investigation into the removal and subsequent publication of a personal note left in a crack of the Western Wall by U.S. presidential candidate Barack Obama during his visit to Israel last week.
The presidential hopeful visited the Western Wall, Judaism's holiest site, at the end of a two-day visit to the region on Thursday. It is believed that requests written on notes and placed between the holy stones of the Western Wall, also known as the Wailing Wall, will be granted by God.
Attorney Shahar Alon asked attorney General Menachem Mazuz to launch an investigation against the editor of Israeli daily Ma'ariv, who published the content of the note last week. ...
(Next to last paragraph): Ma'ariv issued a response Sunday, saying that "Obama's note was published in Ma'ariv and other international publications following Obama's authorization to make the content of the note public. Obama submitted a copy of the note to media outlets when he left his hotel in Jerusalem. Moreover, since Obama is not Jewish, there is no violation of privacy as there would be for a Jewish person who places a note in the Western Wall."

When I first heard about this, I thought perhaps he set the young boy up to do it (paid him something). But it’s even worse - it was all part of his PR scheme. He has no shame.
Obama is a perfect candidate for boomers who are growing old, without growing up. His juvenile behavior, like that of the Clintons, appeals to the narcissistic, and the self centered.

After the hoops before troops incident I realized he keeps going below my lowest expectations so I am going to assume the worst from now on. The troops would have been pr. His prayer is pr. He’s a utterly fake human with no character.
CNN's Sasha Johnson, who was a part of a pool of journalists who accompanied Obama to the wall, said when reporters asked Obama what he wrote, he declined to share the contents of his prayer.
Obama told the reporters it was a private conversation between him and God, Johnson said.
I wonder if this was before or after he handed them a copy of what he wrote.
What’s weird is it seems like there are 2 stories-
1. He authorized publication (meaning they asked is it ok we publish the note the kid gave us)
or 2. He himself gave them a copy of the prayer to publish.
Either way, obviously Obama wanted the prayer public.
I’m running out of words to describe how I feel about what Obama says and does.
