'Old friend' McCain chides China in Dalai Lama visit
By Curtis Wackerle, Aspen Daily News

China must release all Tibetan political prisoners and account for the disappearance of protesters after last spring's uprising, Sen. John McCain said after meeting with the Dalai Lama on Friday.
Next month's Beijing Olympics must be a time for China to demonstrate to the world its commitment to "basic human rights," said McCain, who called on China and Tibet to engage in a "meaningful dialogue on genuine autonomy for Tibet."
McCain also referenced the disappearance of people after the conflict in Tibet in March where Chinese troops arrested hundreds and killed dozens who had taken to the streets to mark the 49th anniversary of an uprising against the Chinese occupation.
China must account for those who are still unaccounted for, and release all other political prisoners, McCain said.

Why don't the Pinkos love Mccain? Not only does he say the things they want to hear, he actually follows through on them. Even though I diagree with much of the way Mccain has acted the past eight years, he is pretty true to his word. Since most of his word is pro-socialism lately the left should love him. They certainly did in the primaries.
Tibet needs to begin violent revolution. The ensuing crackdown would rally the world against China and might eventually lead to the demise of the marxist regime.
I’d like to see Tibetan suicide bombers hit political and military targets in major Chinese cities.
Tell me who’s that writin,

I haven't seen the huge rallies in his name since he condemned homosexuality and agreed that self defense, with a gun, was moral.
I have heard Progressives marveling that it was Nixon (”Yeah, I _know_! Nixon, go figure!”)who was responsible for the EPA.
Older Jews were brought up on apocryphal stories of Jews who converted to Christianity and were still forever known as “Joe, the Jew.”
To them, McCain is still a Republican. The ones who voted for McCain in the primaries may come to rue the day they were too clever by half. They were counting on stiff-necked conservatives to abandon him and give the election to their real candidate. However, he is actually acceptable to many who pride themselves on still being rational. If/when Obama steps over that yet-to-be defined imaginary line, there may be a few more.
I cannot imagine a worse outcome than Obama winning the Presidency of the United States of America.

Also pinging our ChiCom/PLA plants.
Amazing! Pretty bold statements, Senator. This is the kind of rhetoric that the PRC might react to in a very harsh way.
I get such a hoot watching you “handle” me.
“So I got that goin’ for me. Which is nice.”
LOL
LMAO!
Do you have any comments on the topic, ChiCom? You keep claiming that Tibet is an oasis of peace? What do you have to say about Sen McCain’s comments?
Jeeze, man! You gonna give me away!
Huh?
Tainan - this guy “compound w” posts brazen lies on thread EVEN where there’s photographic evidence. He has been pegged as a troll not just by me but NUMEROUS others based on the garbage he spews here.
The fact a few pro-ChiCom morons support him doesn’t legitimize his PLA talking points.
I see you don’t respond on threads where your lies will be authomatically exposed. You’re learning fast, troll.
“China must account for those who are still unaccounted for, and release all other political prisoners, McCain said.”
China must? Or what, Mr. McCain? You’re going to impose trade sanctions on them? ROFLMAO!
