California Democrat Nancy Pelosi, the first woman speaker of the House, will promote her upcoming book, “Know Your Power: A Message to America’s Daughters” in three television appearances Monday: NBC’s “Today”, ABC’s “The View” and Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.”
Something to watch for: will the ladies of the “The View” be able to keep it clean? During a 2007 Pelosi appearance on the program, Barbara Walters and Whoopi Goldberg fawned over Paul Pelosi, the speaker’s husband, who was sitting in the audience. The banter between the two hosts got a bit bawdy with the well-mannered Pelosi.

When politicians write books, I think payoffs and money laundering. Even when they say the profits are going to charity, I still think they are cheating. Whever there is scrutiny about their earnings ( Obama), the answer generally includes a book deal.
Didn't Cindy Sheehan threaten to challenge Nancy for her seat? Whatever happened with that?
Now, that would be a fun catfight to watch.
