The Pentagon said Barack Obama phoned wounded U.S. soldiers at Landstuhl Regional Medical center in Germany today a day after a firestorm developed over his cancellation of plans to visit the base and Ramstein Air Force Base.
Pentagon spokeswoman Elizabeth Hibner told Bloomberg News that Obama was told by the military he could visit the bases as an offical but not as a candidate and without campaign staff.
Obama chose to cancel the visit and instead phoned it in to the troops.
Why is Andrea Mitchell passing the rumor McCain blocked Obomber from visiting the troops?
Because old Andrea only reports rumors, she, like most of the MSM are too lazy and enraptured by Obomination to seek and report the truth.
Why would those hallowed hospital rooms be a fitting place for a POS like Obamalamdingdong.
He has NO idea why men would fight, bleed and die for this country, when all he's had to do is suck off the nipple of affirmative action government/academic programs. He doesn't realize that sometimes real men have to fight and die to protect our freedoms and that "talking" and "HARD" diplomacy with evil men only encourages them to be more aggressive.
I hate to admit it, but I'm gonna vote for the douche bag McCain, cause I can't stand the turd sandwich Obamalamadingdong.
Rush is talking about this now...saying it’s the little stuff that sends out big red flags. Rush says Barry was just an innocent citizen walking through Berlin who just happened to see a crowd and make a speech. But to go see the troops, that was a campaign event.
Phoned in a visit to the wounded? I’m looking for the link to Scrappleface but I don’t see it.
That sounds a little fishy to me. Gration could probably walk into any US military medical facility in the world with his ID card. I'd like to see that letter that Bloomberg reports.
obamawama is an arrogant empty suit, who if elected as POTUS will owe his soul to so may people that he will not be able to take a pi** without their approval.
A Dukakus moment, wouldn’t you think?
Yes... CPT Porter's career is shot.
