The original draft of John McCains speech at the Livestrong Summit Thursday evening made no mention of his own struggle with cancer. The text made a jab at Barack Obama, emphasized the need for improved health care and vowed to take on the tobacco industry but excluded all references to the Arizona senators bout with melanoma.

McCain is part of the RINO cancer that's running amok within the GOP.

Eeeee. McCain really wants to lose this election, doesn't he? Between stupid gaffes (showcasing his dementia), whining about Obama and the media, poking conservatives in the eye, pandering to La Raza, and reminding voters about his cancer...

You sure seem to complain more against McCain than obama..
Agenda?
To: rabscuttle385
I'm done with McCain bashing. Either you vote for him or Obama wins. You decide.
To: originalbuckeye
They want obama to win. There’s a good sized obama fan base on here that wants to bash McCain to death, and this is a clear example.
The MSM does it, so do these anti-McCain obama lovers.
To: MartinStyles
Agenda? Obsessive to the point of being sickening.

Either obama is paying them or McCain did nasty things to their grandmothers.
I can’t figure it out. These people aren’t conservatives to support obama.. And they fight like hellcats against any notion that McCain just may be a reasonable Republican.
To: Graybeard58
And whatever you want to say about McCain.. he is a war hero.
To: rabscuttle385
Obama: Oh, hes just playing politics, blah blah blah blah ....

Who’d have thought you’d see ‘conservatives’ stooping to this level of health attack?
I’ve about seen it all by the McCain haters/obama lovers.
It’s unreal
To: MartinStyles
I am not overly fond of McCain either but I don’t feel compelled to bash him post after post after post and I will most likely vote for him, the alternative is obama.

Ehh..rabscuttle is consistent, but to bash the guy when talks about surviving Cancer (twice) seems...borderline psychotic.

This is not exactly a winning tactic.
I kinda thought Mr. McCain might have a sense of tactical awareness, considering his background.
He just keeps giving the OPFOR enough cannon fodder to last two or three lifetimes.
The libs will use this and anything else that he hands to them against him.
I hope there is someone out there in campaign adviser land that will clue this candidate in as to what is a negative scoring as opposed to a positive scoring statement!
Geeze, he needs to realize that there are certain things, when mentioned, that will bring down your popularity faster than a lead balloon with an anchor attached to it!
I mean GEEZE already!

They were around here in 2004 and 2006, too. I haven’t decided whether they’re just zealots or infiltrated trolls working to “divide and conquer.”
To: roses of sharon
I think you have the correct answer.
