For nearly two years, the South Florida middle school art teacher forced the boy to have sex in a classroom supply closet.
Sometimes, Aaron Mohanlal would call in sick to work, take the boy to his home for sex and drop the seventh-grader back off at school at the end of the day.
To keep the abuse secret, Mohanlal bought the 13-year-old a cell phone and created nicknames for their genitalia. When police arrested him, the teacher was caught on hidden video trying to destroy letters threatening the boy if he ever told.
Last summer, a Broward County jury convicted Mohanlal of 13 counts, including child abuse, molestation and lewd battery, and a judge sentenced him to 43 years.
But a year later, Mohanlal has yet to spend a day in prison.

This is how they define release. He’s as free as you or I, though he is in the sex offender base it appears.

So much of this story needs addressing...scumbag school system...a judge that will no doubt be tied to the RAT party therefore be overwelmingly re-elected..the state of Florida justice system...and a haven for so many criminals.

This perp was such scum, they had to know! A blog mentioned he might be ‘deported’....still don’t know if he’s legally here or not.

This is one weird family. They scrounged up assets from the guys three siblings and the father to back the bond. All three siblings live with the father and are said to be students or work part time (one is a missionary with no assets that “travels the world). Aaron is 41 years old and the father is 71 years old... so I assume his siblings are all in their 30s or 40s. Living with dad and no employment? What a winning family! /s
It is so disgusting that this judge can find reason to let this monster out on bail, yet Kathleen Cardone couldn’t find on inkling of a reason to let Ramos and Compean free waiting their (long overdue) appeal. GRRRRRRRRRRRR!
This school district let this guy keep working for them while he was out on bail awaiting trial! Our tax dollars at work. Unreal.

Thanks, I didn’t see that. In other words they work they system. Our tax dollars educate them for decades, then they get a government school job. And when they molest our children, we spend the money to convict them and don’t lock them up! What a country!
What a surprise... when asked if he was a citizen or had a passport,
the defense attorney responded only "He is a resident."
