this would only be news if he was named VP hopeful. but this story pretty much squashes the chances of that. so this story kind of killed itself.
He's not in office, and there is no possibility of him being in office.

News takes many forms. To me, the news is the treatment this story will get from the MSM, if it is covered at all.
Of course, I'm still a bit skeptical of the reporting since it is the NE.

The Beverly Hilton. Once owned by Merv Griffin and home to the Golden Globe awards and other events. It is slightly more affordable than The Beverly Hills Hotel which is the one of the cover of the Eagles album Hotel California. That one is probably the most famous hotel in the LA area and costs the earth.
This sucks. Imagine if this had happened 2 months from now with Edwards on the ticket.

Politics aside, I wish this story wasn’t true.
You’ve got two people in a long-term marriage and a wife who has probably terminal cancer. A husband who has a mistress with a baby is just disgusting and I wouldn’t wish this on any woman, liberal or no.
I just want to see the NE photos of Edwards scurrying like a cornered ferret. Contrary to popular opinion - I think any political ambitions for him are over. Cheating on a dying wife? He’ll never get another female vote in his life.
Must be in that “other” America Edwards told us about.
i read this story last night but didn’t note which hotel it was. my husband took the red eye out from DC last night to CA and arrived at the Beverly Hilton late last night, basically he only missed this little episode by 24 hours! how funny had he been able to witness the scurrying!
Maybe he wasn’t hiding. Maybe he soiled his armor.
