Obama to Israel: Put Terrorism in Context
Washington, D.C. (July 22, 2008) -- The Republican Jewish Coalition (RJC) issued the following statement today:
"Senator Obama in Jordan today said that terrorism makes 'Israelis want to dig in and simply think about their own security regardless of what's going on beyond their borders.' What Senator Obama fails to recognize is that the safety and security of its citizenry is the primary obligation of a country's leadership.
In essence, Senator Obama is asking Israelis and the American Jewish community to put terrorism in context. Senator Obama continues his rhetoric of moral equivalence by implying that measures taken by Israel to protect its citizens are on par with the Palestinians' frustration at border checkpoints. Senator Obama's attempt at even-handed diplomacy fails to hold Palestinians accountable for using terrorist tactics against innocent Israeli citizens as a means to achieve their ends."

You are talking to a people who had 6 million+ murdered for the sake of racial purity, and are living surrounded on 3 sides by people who have vowed to exterminate all of the Jews.
You are in no position to lecture Israel on how to look at terrorism.
In other words, It’s ok to strap suicide bombs on your kids, daughters, wives, BMW’s and your Mercedes’s as long as it’s for a “cause”...

By saying this to the Israelis, isn’t he also saying to New Yorkers to put terrorism into context?
The liberals world of relativist morality, where putting underwear on a man’s head is more outrageous than sawing it off with a dull bread knife, and the rules of conduct depend entirely on WHO’S conduct you’re talking about.

So the Jews should consider the “context” of defending themselves versus the preservation of their country?
This sounds an awful lot like what the Europeans were telling Czechoslovakia prior to Munich in 1938 - the Czechs should consider the well-being of Europe instead of being so stubborn about retaining the Sudetenland. Just give Hitler what he wants and we will have peace.
