“No, because keep in mind that question, you wouldn’t ... but keep in mind that kind of hypothetical is very difficult to know hindsight is 20-20 ... later ... but I think that what I’m absolutely convinced of is that at that time we had to change the political debate because the view of the Bush administration at that time was one that I just disagreed with.”

Say what??

He said: “I am the Great and Terrible Oz! Pay no attention to that man in the empty suit!”

“You will obey!”

If he wins then someone is going to have to run the country for him. I’m afraid it will be every lefty radical in the Dim party.

Yes. I believe he was for the surge yesterday, but against it today.

And, yes, if you boil his confusing statement down to a few less confusing words, it comes out: “I hate Bush, so I voted the other way.”

It was a complete hummina hummina hummina moment.

Can't wait for the debates.

McCain can be your cranky old neighbor when he's losing a debate, but turns into a giddy smug knife-twister when he's winning.

I suspect he'll be winning often.

I’m sure the McCain camp will come out with a translation/interpretation that makes Obama look good.

Nuze says we need to get serious so why is McCain running for Obama’s VP slot?

As usual, when B-HO has no script he’s completely lost. If a GOP candidate displayed this tendency he’d be poked fun of on a nightly basis by the usual suspects (the MSM, late night talk shows, etc.) and portrayed as “stupid.” But B-HO gets nothing but praise, and embarrassing incidents are duly ignored.

[Gabby Johnson (on the roof of the church) spots the new sheriff riding into town]

Gabby Johnson: [shouting] The sheriff's a N...[the last word is lost in the peal of a church bell]

Harriett Van Johnson: What did he say?

Dr. Sam Johnson: He said the sheriff is near.

Who cares what he said. The point is that Obama is really clean for a black man. Joe Biden said so.

I think he is saying "Even though the surge worked, I wouldn't have won the primary if I would have backed it."

Otherwise how do you explain him saying that he had to oppose it because of the "political" events at the time?

In other words = I will say and vote anyway just to win, it doesn't matter if I am right or wrong!

No, because keep in mind that question, you wouldn't ... but keep in mind that kind of hypothetical is very difficult to know hindsight is 20-20 ... later ... but I think that what I'm absolutely convinced of is that at that time we had to change the political debate because the view of the Bush administration at that time was one that I just disagreed with."

Translation.

No, I would not because remember that question wouldn't....(hmmmI better rephrase my opening statement.)

Remember the answer to the question, you ask, that really isn't a true question is hard to answer because I did not know the answer to the question ahead of time, because it happen before now not later.

..but I think therefore I am absolutely infalliable in my assertion, that I had to change the political debate because I wanted to win the democratic nomination and I needed a whipping boy.

Is it clear now????

Amazing! This confirms Obama knows less about the past, despite hindsight being 20-20, than he does about the future. What a maroon.

McCain camp bump — make ads out of all these foibles concentrating on

Obama v. Obama.

What he said then. What he said later. What he said today.

Very effective.

Worked with Kerry — right?
