The suspect was acting belligerently and threatened the store manager. The cop tasered the suspect, but didn’t think the taser was working since the suspect didn’t respond at all.
The officer was found to have only been in error by holding the trigger on the taser for too long. The death was an accident.
It’s been big news here.
Fine an accident, then the charge should be manslaughter
“The cop tasered the suspect, but didnt think the taser was working since the suspect didnt respond at all.”
Tough kid, or high on something?
It still sounds like manslaughter to me.
He ACCIDENTALLY held the trigger down for 37 seconds? Bullsh#t! He wanted to punish that boy for not conducting the proper police officer grovel. He murdered that boy as surely as if he had deliberately choked him.
From what I saw on the video, the suspect seemed to be just walking away without any reaction at all. Little wonder the cop didn't think it was working.
