US Congress leader Pelosi calls Bush 'a total failure'

US House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Thursday called President George W. Bush "a total failure" who "has no ideas," in an interview with CNN.

Responding to stinging criticism from Bush on the Democratic leadership in both houses of Congress and the slow pace of the legislative agenda, as Congress prepares for its one-month summer recess in August, Pelosi let loose:

"You know, God bless him, bless his heart, the president of the United States, a total failure, losing all credibility with the American people on the economy, on the war, on energy, you name the subject."

Pelosi, 68, said the House and Senate were busy "trying to sweep up after (Bush's) mess over and over and over again ... The president knows it. He needs something to talk about. Because he has no ideas."

The speaker was especially critical of Bush's proposal to lift a ban on offshore oil drilling as a means to ease the current fuel price crisis, calling it a ploy to draw attention away from his failures.

The Pelosicrats channel the talking points of their pals Assad & Ahmawhackjob & Chavez. Amazing how they sound just as hysterical, demented, and incoherent as the world’s leading leftist and Islamo-whackjob fanatics.

If I can recall, I heard a little tidbit a few days ago that San Francisco has the highest gas prices in the nation. If I can recall, Nancy Pelosi has her political view situated there.

BTW, I still find it funny how Democrats like her use polls as a way of judging the decisions of President Bush. Right now the polls are showing that Americans want drilling, and that Congress has horrible approval ratings.

I also find it ironic that horses are in the picture. I am sure that Pelosi wouldn’t mind us riding those for the environment except that A: PETA wouldn’t approve and B: we might accidentally “provoke” the environment when the horse’s hooves beat upon the ground.

Keep going strong in that “New Direction” you promised, Nancy. Pretty soon our only direction will be to the new Gas Station in North-eastern Alaska, with or without your help.

Disgraceful is absolutely right! A lot of times over the years, the Dem President has deserved such animosity, but never has a Republican behaved in such a disgraceful manner toward the President. People, especially those in pol. office, and even more especially leadership, should respect the office at the very least. This poser of a woman has no class, no shame, no decency. All those things SHOULD disqualify her to public office. And all her buddies too, I am just plain sick of their games. This is reality, not a tv show, and not a kindergarten class.

This from a woman whose whose own legislative branch boasts a public approval rating in the single digits territory! Bush is still as twice as popular!

Make that almost 4 times as popular as Congress is, take a few points

President Bush is a monumental testimony to decency and intelligence
*******
So was Jimmy Carter.

Bush should tearing into his inept opponents!!!!!

But he doesn’t give a damn about the people who supported him because he wants to “change the tone” in Washington.

That Bush family “decency and civility” has produced a second failed Presidency, and has left the conservative movement in the same shape that Clinton left the Democrats.

Heck of a job Bushie.

You think? I sure hope so.

I like that cartoon of her saying we won’t see $3.00 gas again and her putting up a $5 a gallon sign. I wish I could blow that up and post it everywhere.

I just might have to invest in ink and do just that. Sadly, most people would have no idea who she is. The only member of government they know is President Bush and he is catching all the flack for their stupidity.

Well I hope you are right. It is certainly a painful experience to have to endure.

My fear is McCain is not the kind of guy that is going to do what needs to be done and we will be stuck with her and the other dems.

This campaign reminds me of the Dole/ Kemp campaign.

Nancy Pelosi is UGLY, but her psyche is even uglier; it fell out of the Tree of Bad Karma and smacked every damned twig on the way down. And, might I add, that’s one helluva tall tree.

Nancy Pelosi should sue her plastic surgeon for malpractice.

Nancy Pelosi’s constituency should sue her plastic surgeon for maintaining a public nuisance.

Everyone who voted for Nancy Pelosi should be slapped, fined $1000, jailed 6 months for abject stupidity, then deported to the Sudan for a dose of reality. I mean, yeah, Pelosi’s stupid, but to actually go out and vote for that kind of stupid requires a sublevel of stupidity entirely beneath the measurable limits of even the most sensetive stupidometric instruments.

Seriously, they should be rounded up and evicted from the planet as the collective intellectual vacuity of the lot of them congregating in proximity would create a huge Black Hole of Stupid that would threaten the existence of the entire universe.

If there’s any good news, here, it’s that Nancy Pelosi is proof that parallel universes really do exist; she lives in her very own special reality that, while appearing to align with ours, actually shares no commonality with anything that humanity has historically regarded as “real”.

In the next election, I highly recommend that the GOP, for lack of a real Conservative, put up a small lump of crotch cheese to run against Pelosi. “Lumpy” might not win, but it’s non-ideas will still be better than any of the outright lunacy that “Stretch” could come up with.

AND, I mean EVERY LAST WORD of that in the very most positive possible way.

Really.
