Father of victim says U.N. body's order 'don't mean diddly'
Texas is refusing to bow to yesterday's World Court order to stay the Aug. 5 lethal injection of convicted rapist-killer and illegal alien Jose Medellin.

Texas Gov. Rick Perry's office rejected Mexico's complaint.
"The world court has no standing in Texas, and Texas is not bound by a ruling or edict from a foreign court," Perry spokesman Robert Black said. "It is easy to get caught up in discussions of international law and justice and treaties. It's very important to remember that these individuals are on death row for killing our citizens."

Randy Ertman, father of Jennifer, a 14-year-old girl Medellin raped and murdered, criticized the World Court for attempting to intervene.
"The world court don't mean diddly," he said. "This business belongs in the state of Texas. The people of the state of Texas support the execution. We thank them. The rest of them can go to h-ll."
Adolfo Peña, father of Elizabeth, a 16-year-old girl Medellin also raped and murdered, concurred with Ertman.
"I believe we've been through all the red tape we can go through," he told the Houston Chronicle. "It's time to rock and roll."

Thanks AM!
As comedian Ron White says, “Other states are debating whether to out-law the death penalty - my state is putting in an express lane.”
You boys get out there and fire ‘ol Sparky up one time for us, if you will...
You gotta love Texas...
Way to go Texas.
You got that right...and there’s a few more that’ll be coming up pretty soon! Kill em all and let God sort em out!
"I believe we've been through all the red tape we can go through," he told the Houston Chronicle. "It's time to rock and roll."
I can't imagine the grief this guy has gone through...but I like the way he put this!
I am not a big fan of the death penalty, but I am even less a fan of the World Court. Even less than that of Jose Medellin.
Stick that in your pipe and smoke it U.N.!
As much as I dislike Rick Perry, I have to give him a good ole bump!
When they’ve completed the execution, the remains shouwl be put in a box, shipped to The Hague, and taken to the steps of the “World Court”. The carcass should then be dumped on those steps and left for the “Court” to dispose of.
WTF is a world court anyway? (Pardon my ignorance).
Of course, a lot of Texans consider US federal courts to be foreign.
Pres. Jorge Bush will intervene again to spare him. He has used OUR justice dept. to defend mexican criminals many times already.
Ask Ramos and Compeon the Border agents who are rotting in prison for defending OUR borders.
I just saw your tag-line. Laz is still banned?!?
BTTT
AMEN to that Dad, I Roger every bit of that.
As Judge Roy Bean said, west of the Pecos, "Some folks need killin'".
Medellin fits that bill to a tee and it is just a shame he was not done in before the animal raped and killed these two young girls.
The Governor has it right too..."The world court has no standing in Texas, and Texas is not bound by a ruling or edict from a foreign court."
Way to go Texas, my native home!
Texas to the World Court: GUILTY!
Let me get this straight...Mexico instructs millions of its citizens to invade the US, take American jobs, strain our schools/hospitals/jails/clinics and then send TENS OF BILLIONS back to their country to keep its economy going...killing over 4,000 US citizens per year...then these wonderful imports commit serious crimes and are on death row for FIRST DEGREE MURDER...and Mexico wants them to remain in US jails for life on our dime (what’s new) vs. facing their death US sentences...
Wow. I guess they really want it both ways...
Deport now, there is no choice.
