RUSH: Yes, I did, I'll say it again. (laughing) I just love tweaking these people.

God I'm glad to see someone actually say this. I this pansyassed Obama can't handle a front page from the New Yorker of all things, I certainly don't want him eyeball to eyeball with Putin.
To: Miss Didi
his wife look like a terrorist Muslim, And reminds me of a young Angela Davis, too.

Not eyeball to eyeball, Gecko. Arms around each other’s back, shaking hands vigorously.

How can Obama not know there are 50 States?
Obama is a Senator. There are two from each State. The whole balance of power in the Senate is based on those numbers.
Obama IS a cartoon!
How can a cartoon be upset by a cartoon?

Rush had a great conclusion to his show today.
His final question to the audience was this (paraphrasing):
"Folks, who always gets angry whenever a cartoon appears? Which group?"

This is a great line: He's got a lot of time spent as a community organizer. People say, "What's that, Rush? What is a community organizer?" Think Al Sharpton.
To: Miss Didi
As far as I am concerned Rush earned his raise today. Glad I heard the show.

And it was only yesterday, 1996, and the liberals at the SF Chron/Exam featured in "political cartoon", Ward Connerly in a KKK-robe, as he spearheaded CA's Prop 209 banning state monies for preferential quotas in hiring, contracts and pub ed. They thought it was sooooo funny.
They were so smug and smacked off any negative responses towards a NEWSPAPERS' obvious bias against Ward, and Prop 209. Ward's response was dry, in response, and concerned with the childish bias a newspaper was showing towards a matter which was so obviously simple, children could understand it; but liberals couldn't, and didn't.

“FOlks, who always gets angry whenever a cartoon appears? Which group?”
Rush did another good job of answering his own question
“Muslims, intolerant Muslims. “
The cartoon was in poor taste but where is freedom of the press defended with these people? Nowhere, no how, no way.
Boo hoo. Just a bunch of race baiters who don’t like it when it gets played back to them.
To: CalifChris
I wonder if during tomorrow’s broadcast El Rushbo’s call screener is flooded by enraged Muslims screaming “We are not intolerant!! We have a sense of humor!! And if you disagree, we will kill you!!”

"You've got this great list, I heard you go through it once, this great list of all the things we can't say about Obama." I said, "Well, it starts out with Maureen Dowd making fun of his ears and he walked to the audience, said, 'I don't like you making fun of my ears. I'm very sensitive about it.' So we can't talk about his ears. And then we can't talk about his wife. We can't talk about his race. Can't talk about his lack of race. Can't talk about his color, lack of color. We can't talk about his preacher. We can't talk about his terrorist buddies that blow up the Pentagon, or want to. We can't talk about his buddies that engage in fraud in the real estate market. We can't talk about his middle name. We can't talk about the flag pin." Great!

This cartoon may have an unintended effect - the real photo of Obama in Muslim dress will have a bigger impact.
