In other news, Jackson’s Rainbow/PUSH coalition has sued the microphone manufacturer for $13 million in damages, citing that the open microphone violated Rev. Jackson’s civil rights.
Rev. Jackson has stated that he would be willing to sit down with the CEO of the microphone company and discuss having Rainbow/PUSH provide “diversity initiatives” to the company for a fee, in return for dropping the lawsuit.
