ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: Clint Eastwood is one of our most famous Republicans. Did you talk politics with him on the set?

ANGELINA JOLIE: Actually, we don't disagree as much as you'd think. I think people assume I'm a Democrat. But I'm registered Independent and I'm still undecided. So I'm looking at McCain as well as Obama. Clint can teach me about things domestically and I'm more aware of some things internationally. So it was less a debate and more things we found interesting. But for the first few weeks I was just too nervous to get into any deep conversation!

By left wing standards, Jolie has done much more for "the global community" than Michelle Obama has.

She's served in more prestigious positions, donated a higher percentage of her income and a larger proportion of her time and made more personal sacrifices for the cause than Michelle Obama.

I agree. She and Brad Pitt might be left wing liberals but they use their celebrity for lots of good. Also, they give not only their money but their time too.

At least they walk their talk. Michelle Obama hasn't a clue what that means. I think Ms. "I Hate America" put her foot in it -again- by slamming Jolie.

Angelina came out very recently and said people have her pegged wrong and she’s made no decision who she’ll vote for. And she’s very pro gun.

Angelina Jolie said recently that she’s really a libertarian and is looking at both McCain and Obama.

Angelina Jolie certainly does have a huge carbon footprint. She also works hard for the underprivileged, third world countries and children. Much more so than other self-absorbed celebrities.

Why she gets such a bad rap is beyond me. IMO, please.

For someone who has gotten every break conceivable, Ms. Obama comes across as filled with more anger and envy than just about anyone I can think of.

There is no pride of one's self when everything you have achieved is due to affirmative action or other government programs.
