More proof of global warming, it is causing a local variability and the glacier will destroy everything in its path. Were Doomed!
As the artic ice melts, it will flood the earth with cool air, which will, for a time, make everything cooler. However, just as ice in a glass keeps the water cold, when the ice is gone, the temps will turn the earth into an inferno.
WE ARE DOOMED!!!
In terms of area size, the world's glaciers are increasing.
Glaciers are growing around the world, including the United States

I thought during this period (1970’s) the know it all scientists were screaming that global COOLING was destroying Earth. But according to the article this was the period of greatest glacier retreat? I just don't understand the logic???
BTW, I was in Grand Teton Nat’l Park a couple weeks ago and the Ranger tole me they had 660” (yes, 55 feet) of snow at the station last winter!

This would be a lot less “mysterious” if one were to forget preconceptions about global warming.
