A special meeting about Dallas County traffic tickets turned tense and bizarre this afternoon.
County commissioners were discussing problems with the central collections office that is used to process traffic ticket payments and handle other paperwork normally done by the JP Courts.
Commissioner Kenneth Mayfield, who is white, said it seemed that central collections "has become a black hole" because paperwork reportedly has become lost in the office.
Commissioner John Wiley Price, who is black, interrupted him with a loud "Excuse me!" He then corrected his colleague, saying the office has become a "white hole."
That prompted Judge Thomas Jones, who is black, to demand an apology from Mayfield for his racially insensitive analogy.
Mayfield shot back that it was a figure of speech and a science term. A black hole, according to Webster's, is perhaps "the invisible remains of a collapsed star, with an intense gravitational field from which neither light nor matter can escape."

"I have found that at Princeton, no matter how liberal and open-minded some of my white professors and classmates try to be toward me, I sometimes feel like a visitor on campus; as if I really don't belong. Regardless of the circumstances underwhich I interact with whites at Princeton, it often seems as if, to them, I will always be black first and a student second." - Michelle Obama
These people are dumber than a bag of hammers...

What brand of .44SPL do you carry? Got a Charter Arms Bulldog Pug myself, had a stainless but got rid of it (new CA 2000, wasn’t thrilled with the quality)
I’d give blood to see the video clip. I thought they said the press was there taping it?
S&W Model of 1950 Target 6 in.
Get the illiterate and idiotic “Judge” off the bench immediately.
I so want to be politically correct, but it is really hard to keep up with the rules. For example, I have never been able to figure out why “people of color” is politically correct but “colored people” is not.
Many years ago, Crayola renamed their “flesh” colored crayon to “peach” color. Now that the word “black” is no longer permitted in polite society, I wonder how they will rename “black” crayons?
I'm not going to rehash McLame’s ideals since it was done over 2 years ago and continues today. It's not his pro illegal immigration ideals that bother me. It's that plus his free speech issues, global warming issues, big government spending issues, etc.
I understand that you can't find someone to run that you agree with 100%, but come on, let's shoot for more than 50%.
You’ve seen nothing yet. Dallas County has gone totally black to that, and more is what you’ll be seeing. In the last year, since the arrival of Gary Fitzsimmons there’s been no less that 7 (maybe more) management positions available and all were filled by minorities. One each occasion someone internal got the job, but on the two positions that only white employees applied for they went outside the county to fill. I guarn-darn-t-ya that the whites of Dallas will have no representation within a five year period. Run, don’t walk to the nearest exit and let the John Wiley’s have Dallas, they’ve ruined the school system, the police force, the District Clerk, might as well have the rest of the city.
