“If he gets to be president, I can be of great benefit to him in the Senate,” Graham said. “With his agenda, he’s going to need people to form bipartisan relationships and pass major legislation. I think that’s where I can serve my state best.”

“Graham’s visibility as the Arizona senator’s closest political confidant has risen in recent weeks as the two men crisscross the country and travel abroad on McCain’s presidential quest.”

Please Juanito, I beg of you, pick this light-loafers pansy as VP. I just want to watch all the color drain from the virtual faces of your operatives on the internet....oh the deliciousness!

At one time I had high hopes for Lindsey. What a wanker he turned out to be.

This is precisely the problem that scares the bajeebers out of me when it comes to McCain as president. Nitwts like Graham can't wait to carry his water, even if they stand to loose a little of their own, they are so excited.

If this is the norm rather than the exception, heaven help us. And I hope it is warming up the cherubs in advance.

Lady Thatcher used to say, many times, that if you stand in the middle of the street, you can be hit by traffic going in both directions.

She never thought of consensus as way to govern.

Mr. Graham used to be a tiger when he was a House member, but ever since he gained a Senate seat, he’s turned into a squish. Something must have happened. Can he really enjoy being invited to all of those cocktail parties in DC? I’ve been to many of them, and they are way over rated.

If John McCain is elected as President, Sen. Lindsey Graham is not the 'Graham' I'm worried about.

If former Senator Phil Graham is a part of a McCain Administration, he will be the economic downfall of this nation and will singlehandedly drive this nation into a severe depression, if not the world.

“Bipartisan relationships” is RINO-speak for “assume a wide stance for the Democrats”. Lindsay has spent more than enough time in that stall already.

I sure hope McCain isn’t thinking of nominating Lindsey for VP. Lindsey owes patriotic Americans an apology. He managed to go from a conservative hero in Clinton’s impeachment trial to a man calling those who opposed amnesty bigots. Such a horrid little man he became.

Why the white house and so many Republicans thought such a stupid political battle was necessary when they could’ve just taken a two tier approach built a wall, fortified security and then pushed reasonable ideas for streamlining citizenship as well as offering more restrictions on immigration by individuals who hold views hostile to the US and its traditions. Instead they chose the foolish road of demonizing those whose support they needed to accomplish anything. They attempted the exact same approach that failed for Hillary Clinton which just goes to show that politicians never learn.

Sorry all but when November comes I’m seriously looking at voting for the Democrat when I see Graham’s name on the ballot. Tried to take him out in the primaries but it didn’t happen. I hate having to pretend it’s a Republican seat. We still have some conservative Dems in this state and I think one is running against Grahamnesty.
