WASHINGTON If Andrew Jackson created the notion of a presidents Kitchen Cabinet, Sen. John McCain is reinventing it months before his possible election to the White House.
And Sen. Lindsey Graham seems to be McCains one-man Kitchen Cabinet.
Grahams visibility as the Arizona senators closest political confidant has risen in recent weeks as the two men crisscross the country and travel abroad on McCains presidential quest.

There one several GOOD reasons why the Republicans should win, the biggest one is...NO FRICKIN’ EXPERIENCE PEOPLE
Obama’s 143 Days of Senate Experience

Just how much Senate experience does Barack Obama have in terms of actual work days? Not much.
From the time Barack Obama was sworn in as a United State Senator, to the time he announced he was forming a Presidential exploratory committee, he logged 143 days of experience in the Senate. That’s how many days the Senate was actually in session and working.
After 143 days of work experience, Obama believed he was ready to be Commander In Chief, Leader of the Free World, and fill the shoes of Abraham Lincoln, FDR, JFK and Ronald Reagan.
143 days — I keep leftovers in my refrigerator longer than that.
In contrast, John McCain’s 26 years in Congress, 22 years of military service including 1,966 days in captivity as a POW in Hanoi now seem more impressive than ever. At 71, John McCain may just be hitting his stride.
Couldn’t have said it any better, C.
There would be a Republican president if we had a Republican “winner” to begin with. The GOP picked McCain, not the people. Wonder who is backing NoBombo?
delete the word one before the word several...oops
Graham will bring in The Log Cabin Republicans.
This is primarily why at this juncture I don't care if it's President MacCain or President Obama. Nitwits like Graham will pass the same crap proposed by MacCain that they would oppose if it's sponsored by Obama.
I hate to do this, but when folks have been around for approximately a year or less before an election, I like to provide an incept date when someone agrees with me about the election when certain conditions are met.
You came here on 10/31/07 and I have no reason not to take you at face value, but I do think it's germane for folks to see an incept date when someone has sided with something that could be construed as supportive of the DNC position.
Please don't take it as a slam. I happen to agree with everything you said, but I do think it's reasoned for others to make an assessment of who a person may be, that is expressing an opinion here.
Hope to see you around.
Cordially,

Ronald Reagan will be doing back flips if this happens.
Why do you say that? Rumor has it he will be tapped as Treasury Secretary.
I nearly missed that one. That was Prime Grade A funny bud.
That's what I'm afraid of.
The cornerstone of the current mortgage woes has his name all over it. The article was posted here on FR within the last month and it is very telling as to Mr. Gramm's economic shortcomings.
No offense taken. I don't take members' suspicion of people with a recent incept date personally. My criticism of MacCain (and now Bush and the GOP establishment) comes from the right.
I live in a very leftist region of the country and have developed a thick skin openly criticizing this region's favorite politicos. So, of course, I'm not about to shrink from criticizing the candidate from the party which I've previously supported for decades now. And, in the end, it won't be the GOP Kool-Aid drinkers who stop their party's (and conservatism's) demise. It'll be us on the right, the prickly ones, refusing to automatically give our assent to people who, but for their party tag, are largely indistinguishable from their dem opposition.
Back at you.
EC
The Constitution Party is full of racist, anti-semitic, anti-American kooks. No true conservative would ever think of supporting them.
Thanks EC. I appreciate you comments.

Add me to the list. / Remove me from the list.
South Carolina deserves two senators like Jim DeMint.
Agreed!!
Unfortunately, McCain's butt boy just won reelection.
With no help from me.
Personally, I'm pissed that "my senator" (yuck!) is running around w/ McCain instead of tending to his constituent's needs.
The ONLY bipartisan action I want to see is when McCain reaches across the isle and chokes a RAT to death. I'm still a bigot and Grahams still a nancy boy. I don't like McCain, but I loathe that whiny little fag. IF Graham has to come with the deal, I'm not so sure I can vote for McCain.
A little walk down memory lane is in order here! I was more than a little angry when I added the captions, and I had to change some of what I 'wanted' to add. LOL The expressions of their faces says it all. Americans really gave them a hard time.
Those are interesting charges, can you prove them?
Are there people in the GOP that most decent people would not welcome? My guess is there are.
I vote for the principles of the party and its leadership, not because it has bad elements, all parties have those.
