We have kicked their lowlife, 7th century asses in Iraq, but there are hundreds-of-thousands of that muslim-islamic-arab garbage ready to come in and fill the gaps.
Nature ahbors a vacuum.
Until Israel fully-dominates the ME and the muslim-islamist trash are completely and totally destroyed, I remain skeptical.

At its worst, the whole of the combined effect of Al Queda in Iraq, the Shia, the Iranian proxies, and the various other groups, plus natural causes and 'hold muh beer' moments killed our soldiers at a rate typical of being in ones late 30s in New Jersey. While we should honor those who have placed their lives on the line, and endured the hardships, the idea that we were ever losing a lot of soldiers has been silly.

Be wary of al qeada’s ‘health’ until ‘after’ the election. This could all be a head fake(lull). Don’t forget the OBL threat just before the last election. It cost Kerry the election and OBL knows it, if he’s still kicking. I don’t think al qeada will rationally limit a potentially ‘sympathetic’ and inexperienced candidate’s chances. IMHO, they can influence an election since honestly, they have done it in the past, much to the benefit ‘of’ the republicans. Just a random thought. I just always like to take ‘all’ possibilities into consideration. It is only prudent.

Exactly. Al Qaeda lost face with that admission, plus they lost new recruits and they most certainly lost financing from their bigger donors (it's human nature to not donate to known losers).
They only admitted defeat in Iraq because they would have suffered even *more* humiliation had they tried to deny it.
