Video: Code Pink Stalker Rushing Stage at President Bush Speech at Monticello 7/04/08

Members of the terrorist-supporting group Code Pink repeatedly heckled President Bush's speech at a naturalization ceremony for new American citizens this morning at Monticello, the home of Declaration of Independence author, Thomas Jefferson.

Code Pinko Desiree Farooz, infamous for getting in the face of Sec. of State Condoleezza Rice at a House hearing last fall in a stunning breakdown of security, rushed the stage where President Bush was speaking. Taking advantage of distractive actions being taken by other Code Pinkos, Farooz was able to get past the front row and turn toward the stage before she was intercepted by security.

It appears that she was able to get close enough to the stage that if she had explosives secreted on her person she could have done the unspeakable.

You Tube video here. The 42 second video was posted by David Swanson, moonbat extraordinaire, of AfterDowningStreet.org. Sadly, Swanson claims to be a graduate of Thomas Jefferson's University of Virginia.

Local news reports the protesters were ejected from the grounds after their outbursts, but that no one was arrested.

The Secret Service needs to explain why Code Pinkos keep getting close to their protectees. Last weekend Farooz got close to John McCain when she rushed the stage at a speech he was giving in Washington, D.C.

Of course, Barack Obama has nothing to fear from Code Pink, they're funding him.

The fact that they do not is a strong indication that they want the disruptions and I believe members of their staffs or some of the left wing congress peoples staffs actively coordinate the disruptions with Code Pink.

I totally agree with you. They even had tickets to the Inauguration, which had to be obtained from a Congressman’s office.

They infiltrated the Republican Convention in NYC in 2004, again with the cooperation of ‘insiders,’(this time from media person.)

They are addicted to gaining camera time wherever possible, and do not care if they look stupid when they act up.

When I used to attend college at the University of Miami, I went to a football game vs the Seminoles in Tallahassee. When entering the stadium, everyone was searched for “projectiles” and my air horn was confiscated.

I think it’s time for the same to be done at political events. Anyone hiding protest banners, signs or anyone wearing pink or hiding pink garments should be prohibited from entering in the first place.

There is a Democratic Socialist Caucus with about 82 members. There are Congressmen submitting bills to impeach President Bush every week. Any of these probably love what the Code Pinkos do.

I love the way President Bush handled it, but Free Speech is not about interrupting the rights of others to have peaceful celebrations and ceremonies. What those obnoxious, despicable, traitors did was reprehensible and should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

If they want to have their say, they should stand on a soapbox on a street corner, or obtain a permit and organize a protest like everyone else.

a plane can almost crash into the white house where bush is not told or evacuated and that's ok because a republican is in office but just don't say "you suck" to democrat bill clinton otherwise the secret service will arrest you and throw you into jail.  That's the way the secret service and the US Government operates. imVho, the USSC needs to be ABOLISHED & replaced with USDM, as the USSC "makes up the rules as they go along". this is a nation of LAWS, not a nation of "government by whim".

this is also true for most of the other 50+ federal law enforcement agencies.

fwiw, (i was a LEO for over 4 decades at the town/city/county/parish/state/military/federal level) & there is NO reason to have that many different federal police agencies, many of whom are doing NOTHING of value, are wasting taxpayer's money, have overlapping jurisdiction & could be EASILY combined into one or two large agencies.

it's really no more complicated than that.

Desriee rushed the President and got to the front of the crowd. She had a banner that had some kind of rod along the top of it.

How did this get into the event? The other lady had a banner. Did no one check their bags when they entered?

Last week, I was watching a C-Span event— a hearing, and there were two Code Pink lamebrains with posters. How the hell did they get in the Capitol with posters?

I was there in April for a tour and was X-rayed until I glowed, at numerous checkpoints.

Then, no one gets arrested? For rushing the President? The banner Desiree held could have concealed all kinds of things. The video is from behind, but that SS agent had no way of knowing what was behind or beneath the banner.

Then to find out she was the one who accosted Rice, and now to find out that she rushed McCain earlier this week, this is way beyond normal.

These people have to be barred from Capitol Hill and all public events. They are a threat and a menace.

If you or I did something like this, we would have the book thrown at us.

fyi, my favorite "secret service brain-DEAD story" happened on the last Presidential Inauguration day, before the parade.

i saw/heard a USSC agent tell a troop of BOY SCOUTS & their adult leaders to throw out their coffee/hot chocolate/donuts, as they "might be dangerous as weapons"!!! (have you ever thrown a donut or a paper cup of cocoa OR ever thought to use either as a dangerous weapon??? = LOL!)

when one of the leaders & I asked politely, "HOW could that be?" & "it's COLD out here. why not let the kids keep their hot drinks.", we were warned (read: screamed at) by the agent that we "could spend the night in jail if you don't SHUT THE (obscenity deleted) UP!"

and THEN i hear that they let a "piece of trash" like her RUSH THE STAGE & DID NOTHING to her???
