"It would be useless only if McCain did not follow that real quote up with even worse ones when Bush pushed through his tax cuts as POTUS"

The quote is useless. And McCain wanted the tax cuts with a stipulation of a spending decrease. So do/did I.

I’ll take this quote as representative:

“The irony is, the only people McCain can count on to vote for him are the very Republicans he despises — at least those of us who can get drunk enough on Election Day to pull the lever for him.”

–Ann Coulter

I hope he will be better than a President Obama, but I won’t vote for him any more. Been there, done that and apologized later for my mistake.

Shouldn’t you be checking in with Dr. Ron Paul about now for tomorrow’s marching orders?

McCain wanted the tax cuts with a stipulation of a spending decrease.

No. That was what McCain said when campaigning later. What he said during the time he voted against them was straight Democrat Party class envy talking points.

?

Those seem to be honest, factual quotes representing the liberal political philosophy of Sen. John McCain.

It’s better to know now what you are voting for come November, then to say you were never warned.

We have the choice between to candidates McCain and Obama that are that not that far apart politically.

The only plus in McCain’s column is that he served his country honorably and is the lesser of two evils.

Either way, I am going to have to trust the man when he says that he will not allow to expire the Bush Tax Cuts of 2003 in which the federal income tax rate is much lower than the year 2000 rate that we’d go back to.

There is one other reason to vote for McCain and it’s a big one...the SCOTUS. We KNOW Obama is going to pick more Ruth Buzzi Ginsbergs. We HOPE McCain will be true to his word and select more justices in the vein of Roberts and Scalia.

Our fearless leader Jim Robinson seems to think he’s inevitable, Noobian Princess, and his opinion carries a lot of weight with me so, as tough as it is—I’m going to try to resist taunting McCain and his supporters a 2nd time in the future.

There are two differences we have. I do not trust him at all as he has flip-flopped his positions by audience too much and I don’t drink, so I won’t be getting drunk enough to pull the lever for him in November. They do say the Dims all get prettier at closing time, perhaps that will help him, but I doubt it.

We also have McCain in the last two weeks touting his support for Breyer and Ginsburg. Which time was he lying?

...help the reader decide for himself.

Thank you for helping me. After all, I obviously need help deciding for whom to vote in November. Do I want somewhat conservative McCain or a committed leftist in the White House? Oh my, I need help so much! Do I want leftist Supreme Court or McCain as President? Tough choice... But with your help I will pull it through.

Listen my friend, McCain is a pain in the ash but the damage he will do can be repaired. The damage the alternative scumbag will do can never be fixed.

I believe the opposite is true. The one issue facing the U.S. that cannot be reversed by any future action is amnesty. 25+ million poor, uneducated, government dependents will swell the ranks of Democrat voters to such a degree that Republicans will have little chance in any future national election. We will be governed by one socialist party. If Obama is elected there is at least a chance that enough Republicans in the Senate will stop an amnesty bill. Republicans seem to do best in opposition. If McCain is elected, he will support full amnesty, as he always has, and Republican Senators will not stand up against "their" president to stop it.

I can see both sides, but this is the scenario I think is most likely.
