You don’t see what McCain has to do with that,

Nothing directly but GWB has always been a big support of A.URIBE and McCain was there to keep good relations with URIBE....Ya see some light?

oSBAMA is rather supported by CHAVEZ...
The “great” preacher Obsama lost big on that one!Sorry

Being called nasty by you is laughable. I am very conservative and you do not know me, so give up your mind reading gig because you suck at it just like you do as being civil.

American WILL come to her senses. And if she doesn’t, four years of an administration WORSE than Carter’s will wake them up. ;)

Bingo!

I don't know if McCain did anything, but, I'm sure it's possible that Columbia asked for something and McCain told them it would be easier to get it for them if they were to "rescue a couple of hostages".

I bet the Left is wanting to know where Col. North was this morning, god forbid he is out rescuing Americans and supporting Democracies against communist again.

Columbia has been working for this for a long time. This is NOT a publicity stunt, and Juan McCain had nothing to do with it.

If there is any orchestration involved, so are the Columbian drug cartels. That's the most troublesome thing to me. Who do they own?

I do not believe I posted to you, nor did I call you a foul name, as you did me. One only has to read through this thread to see the truth.

You couldn’t do that. Must be why a person like you would cheerlead for a liberal.

You need to quit lying. It makes you look cheap.

Yes, that drives me crazy. Good to see I’m not the only one.

Just remember people, Colombia is a South American nation. Columbia is in the US.

McCain knows who the enemy is. And he wants to flood the country with them.

I comprehend what it is you are attempting to state, and agree with your thinking, however it does not address the question of McCains involvement in the release today of hostages as reported in the headline posted. There was nothing in the text of the announcement, nor two other articles about a McCain involvement.

Still waiting for more information. I’m elated for the hostages freedom.

All the McCain detractors have a decision to make - do they want to get behind our guy or watch a Marxist Government take over the US?

The prisoners had been held for three years, and happened to be rescued within 24 hours of McCain visiting. Sorry, that doesn’t sound like a natural progression to me.

As for McCain, I’ve made no attempt whatsoever to make it look like he had done anything wrong. I never said so, and I never implied so.

They aren't soldiers. They are civilian contractors.

They are "civilian contractors", in quotes, if you know what I mean.

Well, that's a good question. I'm not very knowledgeable about what is going on down there with regard to that.

The American hostages were captive for more than 5 years. Betancourt was 6 (6.5 I think).
