I don't like Obama either but let's try to be a little fair here. First off, Slum Lords for Obama is not the title of the real article. So the developers got money to help pay for the building of low-income housing. So what? How does that make them or Obama the bad guys? The real story here SHOULD be that brand new housing was built for these people and they destroyed it within a few years.

thousands of apartments across Chicago that had been built with local, state, and federal subsidies — including several hundred in Obama's former district — deteriorated so completely that they were no longer habitable. I am tired of people complaining about "deteriorating" housing - its the subhumans that occupy them that cause them to deteriorate beyond repair in the first place. Then, like locusts, they move on to destroy another once-proud neighborhood.
