The Bible: God’s immutable word(Obama on faith)
Cross Action News ^ | 7-1-08 | Marie Jon'

America stands at a religious and a political crossroad. If Barack Obama becomes president, his religiosity will be embraced to some extent by certain members of our society. There will be more unseemly and drastic changes than our country has ever experienced. Obama and others of his ilk will dedicatedly undermine the traditional understanding of God’s Word to change our society as they see fit.

The Democrats implemented a strategy to vie for votes using Christian verbiage to draw people to them. However, Rev. Jeremiah Wright and Father Michael Pfeger spoiled it to a degree with their flamboyance.

Truth..I would rather have Michelle Obama for President than her husband. I find her to be much more trustworthy in a moonbat sort of way. Obama is a shape-shifter, and I find that to be exceptionally frightening.

Black Liberation Theology teaches that in the New Testament, Jesus is not for all, but for the oppressed, the poor and unwanted of society, and against oppressors ... Either God is for black people in their fight for liberation and against the white oppressors, or he is not.

and

Christ is black therefore not because of some cultural or psychological need of black people, but because and only because Christ really enters into our world where the poor were despised and the black are, disclosing that he is with them enduring humiliation and pain and transforming oppressed slaves into liberating servants.

and

Black theology refuses to accept a God who is not identified totally with the goals of the black community. If God is not for us and against white people, then he is a murderer, and we had better kill him. The task of black theology is to kill Gods who do not belong to the black community ... Black theology will accept only the love of God which participates in the destruction of the white enemy. What we need is the divine love as expressed in Black Power, which is the power of black people to destroy their oppressors here and now by any means at their disposal. Unless God is participating in this holy activity, we must reject his love.

For the left, black liberation theology makes for close to a perfect faith. It is a political creed larded with religion.

The model for BLT is alienation, deep resentment, separation and grievance. All of which leads to militancy. Militancy is important. It’s the sword dangled over the head of society. Either fork over more tax dollars, government services and patronage or else.

The answer to the burning question, what is Barack Obama going to do for spiritual guidance now that he's thrown Jeremiah Wright under the bus...

Bambi - the Bible clearly states that your ideology is anathema.

Two of the Ten Commandments specifically tell you that you’re to keep your hands and heart off of other people’s property (no exceptions for intending to “do good” with it).

Charity is to be handled privately, voluntarily, and joyfully - not through coercion.

Gary North has a bunch more examples. Just google “bible socialism”, you’ll find him.

The entire Dem socialist platform is anti-Bible. You are to teach a man to fish, not just give him the fish. When you supply all the fish, you are the master and everyone else is the slave. Jesus wasn't looking to make slaves.

It comes from their worldview -

only they know who needs fish, what type of fish they need, where to get it, and how to catch it in an environmentally friendly way.

North is excellent, real zorchy stuff:

The liberals 8th Commandment:

“Thou Shall Not Steal, Except by Majority Vote”

The same Author of “The Faith of George Bush” is going to write a similar book about the Obamao.

Thanks for the recommendation- I actually haven’t done anything but scan a couple of his documents, but some good arguments and references there.

In order to be in favor of high taxes then you must first “Covet thy neighbor’s goods”. So, it is inherently evil to do so.

What’s funny was how easy it was to corner Obama into saying that he favored high taxes in order to punish those that were “too” successful.

I forget the interviewer, but he kept pointing out that reduced rates on capital gains invariable, demonstrably, increased revenues.

Obama was reduced to spouting “it’s a matter of fairness”, indicating that he wanted to use gov’t to punish those who had more (because higher taxes don’t do anything to help the poor).

If Barack Obama becomes president, his religiosity will be embraced

Mmmmm.. I wonder what version/intepretation of the Sermon on the Mount from Oblama's lips will we embrace? Perhaps 'Thou shall not judge for thou shall commit racism, sexism and hinder the spirit of change'.

In a recent article about "Carter, Obama and the Evangelicals", it was noted that Obama has purposefully learned very carefully the VOCABULARY of faith and Christianity, able to insert key words and phrases into his motivational speeches that will convey the message that he is a mature Christian.

However, Obama gets his vocabulary from the wrong DICTIONARY, not the dictionary of salvation through Christ, but one which believes that all faiths are equal and that atheism is also equal.

Obama has the speechifying skills and personal appeal that, combined with a convincing Christian VOCABULARY, will deceive many.

Meanwhile, in Muslim countries, crowds are cheering for Obama. That is an objective fact. They think he is one of them.

Obama to expand Bush’s faith based programs. I do not like the way all this is shaping up!. Obama is fooling Evangelicals for his political gain. The religious left are not doing the work of The Almighty. They go against God’s teaching to suite their own social agenda....gay marriage and abortion. Evangelicals better wake up that they are being bamboozled by Obama.
