First of all, PJ...you were RIGHT about the hidden seal
Many thanks to Texas Darlin and Greg Gelembiuk, but props to the GIMP development team (http://www.gimp.org/) for providing the software used to examine these images.
* QUESTION: Are there seals hidden from view on the "Certificate of Live Birth" images posted to (a) the Daily Kos. (b) BarackObama.com (aka "Fight the Smears") and/or (c) the two images posted on OPENDNA's PhotoBucket account?
* ANSWER: YES to (a), but a big, fat NO to (b) and (c)
Basically, I believe I put to rest a flurry of posts on the other blogs that are showing off an enhanced version of the Daily Kos image which reveals what appears to be a seal hidden from view.
PJ pointed this out to me. Without the use of any filters, PJ could see tghe ripples in the Kos image.
And, my response to finding the hidden seal is BIG WOOF!
As I mentioned earlier on, the State of Hawaii does not issue uncertified COLB's -- either you have a COLB that bears the embossed seal and signature block on it, or you have zilch.
Therefore, ergo, at some point in the creation of the first fake image, there had to have been an actual COLB or a copy of an actual COLB.
Either way, you cannot create a fake COLB from thin air. You have to start with something that is a copy of one.
Speaking of "zilch," that is exactly what Obama has provided to America to prove where, when and to whom he was born.
Obama does have some s'plainin' to do.
We've read his "Audacity of Hype."
We've read his "Schemes of my Birth Certificate."
Now, please Sen. Obama...

Why, oh why, are we continuing to debate this stupid gotcha issue? Even if he is not constitutionally able to take the office of President, you know that the Supreme Court will rule that Obama meets the intentions of the law or some other slight of hand bull.
Can we get back to the millions of issues where Obama is not just wrong, but in absolute opposition to the vast majority of the people of the United States?
Does anyone have a link to the (probably valid) image of Obama’s mother’s BC? It was posted on a FR thread a few days ago.

I agree. This is a red herring. If we aren’t careful we’ll end up with egg in our faces. Let’s consider that they’ll get their revenge by running more “Is McCain a US citizen” stories.

Exactly. With clinton it wasn’t that he had sex, as disgraceful as it was, it was that he lied under oath about it. With obama, the real issue probably isn’t whatever is being hidden with these forgeries, it’s that his campaign put up a forged document in the first place. That’s a felony for forging a legal document, isn’t it? I think it is, and in that case, Obama should be in prison, not in the white house.
McCain hasn’t attmepted to pass off forged birth certificates. It’s the lie that gets you in the deepest trouble, not the information that you covered up.
The Federal Election Commission could investigate to see if Obama is eligible to become president.
Certigate continues, unabated.
If, however, you want a controversy that could be proven much sooner, consider the question of whether BO registered with the Selective Service (as he was required to) back in the early 1980's. Information, is at the link below:

What if, as I believe, this really is his BC. By not addressing it further, he can prove later that he DID provide it and the "right-wing-wackos" kept right on. Besides, they are thrilled that we are chasing something they know isn't a problem

First of all let me say that this continuous nitpicking does make us here at FR look a little too much like democrats; on the other hand, it is so much darn fun to see this battle of technological sleuthing ongoing in real time that it takes our mind off the ‘final solution...’
You don’t have to spend another second chasing this. Instead, let’s see some hard hitting Obama posts about “issues”. You can do it.

Read my lips, I can handle this information and all the other lies and BS Obama puts out and process them all.
I will be highly incensed if this issue is dropped before a real paper copy of his birth certificate of COLB is shown to the people of the US. He is a Presidential candidate, at least until the convention, and he MUST show this document, it is imperative that he does and if he doesn't, if he is playing some kind of fraud game by drawing people into this and then later saying Gotcha! then he needs to be exposed there too because that is also against the law.
