Does anyone recognize this anchor who filled in for Brokaw in the early to mid 80s? His first name is Garrett and his last name begins with "Up...." Driving me crazy. Anyone remember? Thanks... Here's a photo:

Looks like Arnuuld is just as boring. Maybe he thinks he’s doing a remake of ‘’Kidnergarden’’

Vandals have spray-painted 60 city vehicles in Orlando, Fla., some with messages against Sen. Barack Obama. Oh, they'll just get some Left wing think tank Obama idoltaror to prove Free Republic did it.

Many are a bit shocked that so few in congress understand their industry,....

I wonder if the people you met watch PBS shows like Bill Moyers, and listen to NPR radio when driving? And believe that they are well informed!

My first reaction to the Orlando vandalism:
ACORN operatives doing what others have done all over the country - pretending to be ‘victims’ of race hatred, by producing race hate graffiti.

Im sure well see a few brave pubbies out and demanding Delahunts apology, excoriating him, making sure the public knows what a vicious thing he said. IF he apologizes it'll go something like this: I'm very sorry if offense was taken by anyone too stupid to realize that I meant it in a GOOD way when I suggested Al Qaeda kill that creep. And the Drive Bys will applaud him.

Olbermann is becoming less of a favorite with the lefty bloggers. After castrating Bush relentlessly about FISA, but turning on a dime with Barry O, when Barry O deftly and suddenly adopted Bush's position, the left wants to string up Olbermann. KO loves BO....nice ring, eh?
Meanwhile, Rupert Murdochs Fox and Page 6 in the NYP are giving Olbermann lots of bad publicity about his public spat with Bill O'Reilly.
Bottom line is that it's becoming clear to NBC KO is a Wacko....nice right, eh?...and not the right fit for Meet the Press. I would love to see it happen in some ways.

Thanks. I looked him up on
Wikipedia. What a moonbat he is...
In 1992, Utley issued a controversial commentary essay at the close of a weekend newscast, expressing a view that then-President George H.W. Bush should forego reelection in the interest of the country.

Hugh Hewitt will make his "This Week" debut today as part of a roundtable. Not sure the topic, but Hugh usually doesn't back down and may get a good zinger or 2 in there. I won't miss it. He'll have the chance to smack down Katrina VandanEvil of the Nation, among others..

I looked at the list of guests; which one is the flaming liberal, compared to the ordinary liberals?

Thanks for the link. Didn’t realize he was as “important” a person in news as he was in the 70s and 80s. I’m still pretty young.
